This is the place for friends to gather. Great Irish style food. Had the burgers, excellent. Can't wait to try the corned beef next time. Bench seating, share the bench among several other customers like an old time pub. Board games provided and even an old Rock'em Sock'em Robots game, fun! You always see friends gathering here.

Really fun Irish bar.. but it isnt a "fake" Irish bar with paper shamrocks all over the place..Its a legit Irish bar, where people go to drink, listen to music, laugh, make friends, chat it up. Bar keeps are good and are fast, so if you are drinking rounds, buckle up!! This is one of my favorite stops in Old... More

Out on a cold misty night, looking for a bite. We saw Brian Boru. I remembered seeing it on Trip Advisor so we said, why not. It really is a bar with some food. A young crowd for a couple of gray hairs ! But they were very welcoming. Long tables and benches for seating. Had fish and chips. Very... More

Informal, pub style atmosphere. There is outside seating in an alley (not romantic!) and an outside upper deck (good mostly for standing). Fun, younger crowd. We did not eat, but beer was cold, service good.

The food was not good at all..One item ordered was a house summer special, so it was expected to be great. The items per the price and quantity could have been better. The only thing good was the entertainment. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially when Portland has so many OTHER awesome places. Just not this place,... More

Bloods were cheap, spicy, and delish! Huevos rancheros were crispy and soooo yummy! A definite spot for brunch, but also looks like a great place for music and beer later.
