This is a lovely little spot in West End. Small plates and a solid wine list were a great fit for me as I was traveling solo on business. The food was delicious and my server was helpful and friiendly. I look forward to a...More

We were staying at at B&B close by. This is a great little neighborhood bistro. Small and intimate, only about 10 tables in the front. Small bar, friendly service. We did not have a reservation so had a drink at the bar. The hostess came...More

The local 'Maine oysters were very good. The service was efficient and friendly. The quality of the produce is excellent but the execution needs a bit of work in seasoning, I don't mean adding more salt, just adding herbs and spices to food rather than...More

Our B&B host recommended this restaurant as it was close--but Caiola's was a very pleasant surprise and way exceeded our expectations. The cosmo martini was one of the best--and the fried polenta sticks appetizer and seafood medley and mutton meatloaf dinners were excellent and all...More

What a wonderful and delicious experience. We were taken there by a friend who lives nearby and we loved the local flair. The food was fabulous with attentive service. Sure wish we lived closer as this would be our go to restaurant.

@Trailfan - if you are interested in stuffing yourself with pasta perhaps you should visit the Olive Garden. I have been to Caiola's about 5 times and God willing I will go back many more times. They get everything perfect, literally. Every bite is so...More

We walked this restaurant from our bed and breakfast in the west end. It has a true neighborhood/local feel as opposed to the downtown restaurants that cater to more tourist. Waiter attentive, food interesting and well prepared with a good by the glass wine menu.
