Such a wonderful night to enjoy some of the best cooked food I've ever had. 7 courses for the V day menu and my wife and I each ordered something different. Of 'course' we tried each other's dishes and honestly we both thought it was...More

With so many great restaurants in Portland, it's easy to miss a gem like Evo (I walked by the front door without seeing it!). Make a reservation, ask to be seated upstairs, and get ready for your taste buds to be made very happy! They...More

I like the place a lot especially upper level and enjoyed their food - mostly sampling different small plates and red wine. Lovely atmosphere. Would go again.

Beautiful but small place. We ate upstairs which seemed a Bit quieter but you could still see the street action and the bar. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. Who would’ve thought chickpea french fries would be good but they were...More

The food ordered was exceptional - and the menu had others that were equally tempting. Middle Eastern/Mediterranean flair prepared exceptionally well for being in Maine but would be good anywhere. Service is attentive without being overbearing. Definitely will try again very soon.

We were thrilled to see a vegetarian tasting menu (with wine pairings if you choose) so our decision was made about what to order almost immediately. As first timers to Evo Kitchen + bar it was a chance to sample many different dishes in one...More

After a long drive, this meal was a wonderful end to a long day. Portions of the many courses sized correctly. Every morsel tasted very fresh. Just a delight in flavor and presentation.

I greatly enjoyed my first visit to Evo tonight. I decided to splurge on the tasting menu and was not disappointed. Sitting at the bar I was able to watch the chefs prepare course after course of beautiful, creative and delicious food. The service was...More
