I have eaten in Governor's in Bangor, very tasty, great desert menu, probably not a great place to be on a diet.

We went in for an appetizer and dessert. Our waitress was very nice, the place was clean. Food service was quick. I ordered onion rings and the Toll House supreme for dessert. Both were delicious! The dessert was so large I took it with me in a take away box. I love to come to Governor's!

We had breakfast here and it was acceptable. No groundbreaking news in this review. Between the three of us we had a breakfast sandwich, eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, coffee - normal breakfast fare. The only item worth mentioning is that my Texas toast tasted like it had been cooked in onions. I like onions but I do not like them... More

A party of four. Asked for a booth. They didn't seem to like that so they stuck us near the door. It was freezing in there. When we ordered our food it arrived cold and raw. I asked for it well done. We did arrive about 6. I felt like I was eating in a hospital cafeteria. The waitress never... More

Stopped with some students when in town for a conference. They had a pretty big selection on their menu and we all enjoyed our meals. I tried poutine for the first time and enjoyed it. They had a wide variety of desserts to choose from that all looked really good. I would recommend this place for a meal.

A group of us ordered there specials of the day. Cheeseburger and home made kettle chips. The burger bun was home made and the chips were great.

We go there a couple times a month. A great local place to visit. Super friendly staff. Huge desert menu. Looking forward to our next trip!

A last minute decision to have dinner out during a camping trip. We stopped here because it was convenient - and it had a full parking lot. We found a very friendly staff, great service, an excellent menu with choices for anyone, amazing daily specials, and a desert menu worthy of a special trip alone. My wife ordered the daily... More

Expected better food. The fish and fries made my stomach upset. Service was OK. I would not go back. The restaurant advertised a special of pot pie but wasn't offered.
