My husband and I love just stopping by for a beer and pizza on Thursday or Friday nights. Such a welcomimg pub style atmosphere. Friendly and definitely a Maine style flair. Great pizza and the wine is even good!

My buddy and I went to the Old Goat. I ordered a Paganini, but wanted cheddar cheese instead of Swiss, I was taken back by the "No, we don't switch cheeses" We won't go back

While the atmosphere is small town fun and quirky, and they have a very large beer selection.... be prepared for lousy service and the greasiest pizza I've ever had. The only other option is Paninis, which while good, make for a very limited menu. We stopped in on a hot summer day and I asked for a glass of ice... More

I took a group of engineers here and used the upstairs room (add $50 for using the room, for extra work for the wait staff). Great selection of beer and cider - pear cider, mmmmm. And pizza and other food. They went out of their way for food for my husband with a bazillion allergies - and he actually said... More

generally, during the week the food is good and the beers are great. I got shoveled on a Sunday evening- web site doesn't mention an early close on Sunday- some toppings unavailable for a pizza, had to order w/I 10 minutes, when I asked to have the pie boxed for take-out so that the staff could close, as they seemed... Hardly 'fine dining' but a great place for pizza and beer. Nice setting in an old building on Main Street with reminders of days gone by. Pizza was really good. Only one huge size, so plan to share. Odd selection of draft beers, but something for everyone. Friendly staff.

We went with friends who live in Richmond and raved about the pizza. They only serve sandwiches and pizza. The waitress gave us four pieces of paper that served as a menu. Two pieces of paper were dedicated to pizza. The waitress returned and said they were out of pizza. This was 5:30! How does a pizza restaurant run out... More

Nice people at a home town kind of place. We sent in for a beer, but ordered a pizza, since it smelled so good. Do yourself a favor and order one. It was amazingly good. They also have a ton of craft beers.

Cool place-an old, renovated bank building. Excellent food. Go early so you get pizza as they sometimes run out. The owner is quite knowledgeable about beers.

We were looking for a place to eat after docking in town. found this place.Lots of Brews/Beers to choose from. Huge Pizza/Sandwich Menu for a small place. Food was good. Not your average choices in a Pub. Worth a stop if your in the area.
