My favorite bakery in the world. Okay, I live nearby and I know I am spoiled but nonetheless... So, maybe the best bagels in the universe (thank you guys. don't change a thing) The savory Scones are to die for. A collection of desert items will make you the king or queen of a dinner event. We are very lucky... More

It's very tiny and they have awesome bagels and they make their own cream cheese which is equally awesome. That's all I had but I can't imagine the other stuff is not great. Get there early because they do run out. The people that work there are very friendly and helpful.

Good bagels, not really NY style, a bit chewier but good flavor. Baked treats are incredible. Coconut cake is best I have had. European style sandwiches ( cheese and pesto on French bread, ham and cheese with interesting mustard and arugula etc)

Had Pizza & bagels for the road. Pizza slices huge. I liked the tie up spot for the dogs. They had dog biscuits too.

Had a great sandwich. Nice choice of their offerings or build your own. Also, an eclectic mix of sweet goodies. So great to have a thriving business (now expanding) in a residential neighborhood.

Stopped by for lunch while sightseeing at the lighthouse. Family had great sandwiches, salads and baked desserts on the patio. Would definitely return on our next trip.

We have been stopping by for a few years now while passing through town. Bagels are different, but classic in their own right. Great baked items, such as the blondie and ring ding cake. Love the sandwiches, and Coffee (coffee by Design). Don't miss it!!

Had bagels, macaroons, and coconut cake during our 5 day stay in the area. Well worth the calories! They also have carry out sandwich deli that we did not try. The fresh bread looks amazing as well.

Worth a stop if you're headed to the Portland Head Lighthouse. A variety of fresh baked goods and good coffee. I loved the strata. Don't miss it!

As a native Mainer, Scratch has always been my go-to bakery for cakes, bagels, and treats. Food is always fresh and great-tasting, and the atmosphere of the place is warm and welcoming. Don't miss this!

Thank Lila G
