We were at Mount Desert Island 4 days and stopped here twice for ice cream. Best by far. Apple pie, moose tracks, and blueberry chocolate chip were favorites. Don't miss this gem at Southwest Harbor.

We stayed at the Kingsleigh Inn across the street from the Quietside. It was not only convenient, the food was great -- everything we tried was good including various sandwiches and an amazing blueberry pie. Very friendly people, too. Highly recommend.

Delicious ice cream with a good variety of flavourings. The owner is very friendly and it was nice to see her in the restaurant working amongst the staff. I would probably swerve the cookies as we had a chocolate chip cookie which was dry and...More
We stopped in for some ice cream on a Sunday afternoon - delicious! It wasn't busy but the waitstaff was smiling and friendly.
Had a great pizza here. My husband enjoyed the Philly Cheese steak sandwiches. Lots of ice cream choices. Good pies here too! Definitely worth a stop if you are in Southwest Harbor.
Possibly the best place to eat in SW Harbor itself. Okay sandwiches and pizza. Good apple pecan (?) pie. Agreeable staff.
