Interesting stop. Offers good breakfasts but parking can be a challenge and there are only about ten seating spots inside.

Small, local stores like this are going out of business because people just drive by. Then one day, they drive by and see that it is closed, and say, "Oh, that's too bad..." So STOP and buy something, anything! Bob and Alexandra and their kids...have been working hard to bring items that you want into the store. They make a great breakfast sandwich, good pizza, and excellent baked goods. You can get basic supplies, but don't expect a big inventory. There is Norway Brewing Co. beer on tap, and I recommend lingering with one on the porch. They are nice people, giving it a go. So stop, and ring the bell if the door is locked -- they'll come down!More

Great place to stop for a drink, snack or homemade sandwiches. A daily special is also available as well as ice cream. My husband and I stopped for a drink and snack as we were heading towards NH.

This well known local place was known as"Springers" for many years. All the locals loved it for simple good lunch and early supper food. The new owners have plans to provide the same. We visited shortly after they opened. Nice couple. Ok sandwich but, they...need to go true Maine and adopt the local bread rolls that are called "Italians". It's a soft sub type roll packed with lots of meat, cheese, local veg, pickles and olives. With oil and salt and pepper. When you visit this part of Maine an "Italian sandwich" is the treat you're looking for! This is a unique sandwich that we all hope they will embrace. And please carry some local birch and root beers, ice cream, and a few staples, too. Good Luck and Welcome!More
