We were out driving the country side when I spotted the Fisherman's Catch roadside sign. To our surprise we "discovered" a really fantastic seafood restaurant. The food was excellent, the waitstaff was very friendly and helpful in making our choice from a very extensive menu. The prices were very appropriate for fresh caught seafood. We had a great time and... More

When visiting Wells we always go to Fisherman's Catch for our seafood treat. Love the casual atmosphere and food always good. Excellent clam chowder and fried oysters is one of my favorites. Prices are reasonable.

The clam chowder was good. My 1.5 lobster was soft shell which was so easy to eat and fresh. My husband had fried shrimp tacos which he enjoyed. Nice place to eat locally.

So you are coming to Maine, and you want to eat the real Maine way, with real Maine sea food at a fair price? Then you need to visit the Fisherman' Catch on Harbor Road in Wells Maine. This is a proof positive example of the way a Maine sea food eatery should be, not to fancy, not to big,... More

Fun atmosphere, delicious food, terrific service. Recommend the calamari, whole lobster & baked haddock with crumb topping. Enjoyed the key lime for dessert.

Recommended by locals for clam chowder and agree it was great but lobster rolls nothing special and expensive. Lobster was tough and dry, little mayonnaise and no lettuce. A lot of food fried also which disappointed us. Would go again for chowder but nothing else.

Excellent lobster stew (lots of claw meat in a rich, creamy broth) and tasty fish sliders (haddock in mini rolls). Try to get a table overlooking the marsh. As a solo diner, I appreciated that every staff person was really friendly and helpful.

This was a great little find on the marshes of Wells. The atmosphere is really fun, its got a patio feel but you are still inside so safe from bugs while enjoying a great view and wonderful breeze! The adorable lobster cutout above each bench table holds a roll of paper towels so you never run out! My husband and... More

I love this place. The seafood is always fresh and delicious. This is a no frills casual restaurant that is reasonable and consistent.
