We arrived for our 7 pm Saturday reservation. We were a party of 4. We have eaten there several times in the last few years and were excited that they had reopened after the renovations. We were asked why we were there when we arrived. We announced that we had reservations for 7 pm. We were informed several times that... More

Joshua's is a classy, beautifully staffed and run eatery. We started with a "special New Years Eve" cocktail, a delicious meal, a sumptuous bottle of wine, then desert in a warm and well appointed dining room. The waitresses are knowledgeable and accomodating which adds to the overall effect! Just a wonderful meal and time well spent.

We stopped by for drinks last night. The dining room was full, but there were seats in the bar. The bartender was friendly and the atmosphere was cheerful and cozy. We had a really nice time. The menu looked delicious, but we'd already eaten. Next time we will come for dinner!

Friday night and no reservation but they found a comfortable table for me. Server was super bright and anticipatory. Menu is extensive with lots of tasty treats on offer. Enjoyed the cream of mushroom soup (really a puree), a deliciously dressed salad, haddock with roasted vegetables on a bed of brown and wild rice (scrumptious) and enjoyed coffee and homemade... incredible dining experience. All of the food is local and fresh and prepared in a way that makes it impossible not to eat everything.

We always go to Joshua's when in Ogunquit and that's fairly often. Barbara and Mort are great hosts and the food never disappoints, whether you order seafood, lamb, or vegetables. The food is fresh, the service is friendly, and unlike most restaurants, the bread is not to be missed. Reservations are advised for a party larger than 2 but when... More

Just booked 3 nights in May. My wife asks if Joshua's would be open for dinner all 3 of those nights.

As good a restaurant you will find in southern Maine - great crab cakes, haddock and filtets were great, fudge pie! Friendly service and atmosphere make this a great place.

Joshua's is the best restaurant in Wells and maybe beyond Wellls. Great for a special occasion or if you just want a lovely meal. The menu is exciting and ever changing. Last time there we had mussels in a blue chees broth as an appetizer that was ti die for. Service us excellent. Have a specialty cocktail in the cozy... More
