Wanted to ship some seafood/lobsters home. Stopped by and they were beyond helpful. Lobsters, clams and scallops arrived home before I did and the quality and cost were fantastic! I will stop by next visit!

We are so fortunate to have Plant's, now that Gilmores and the fish place in Wiscasset are gone,. I recommend calling ahead if you are looking for crabmeat or picked lobster -- they are happy to reserve whatever you want.

Stopped here to buy crabmeat. They said they couldn't get any and didn't have anyone to pick it. Such a disappointment. I did buy 1/2 lobster meat for $19.99 which was delicious.

Wally Plant ran Plants Seafood for what seemed like hundreds of years and only sold seafood that he would have eaten himself. Plants was the supplier of many east coast restaurants. Wallis son Danny is now operating Plants Seafood, carrying on the tradition of selling only the best at a fair price.

Fresh seafood and friendly service ... what else do you need? Right next to the Swango farm stand, so you can pick up a complete dinner.

I picked up super fresh haddock fillets, scallops, and a bowl of chowder that didn't make it out of the parking lot.

Always the place my family and I go to to get our sea food when it available. Now that I live else where and CBT get such herd fresh sea food every time I come home for a visit this is a must go to place. Gives us a nice Tate of fresh sea food to satisfy my hunger.

We've been buying our seafood at Plant's near the maritime museum for years. Recently, we've gotten the lobster rolls and fish chowder at the Plant's Seafood II near the Walgreens in West Bath. The lobster rolls are generous and simply prepared. The seafood chowder is flavorful with a good amount of fish - the broth is creamy and full of... More

The freshest local seafood - ready to eat or to take home and cook. This is the "real thing" - fish, lobsters and seafood right off the boat and sold by the folks who caught it. We live nearby and this is our favorite seafood store.
