Decided to take out a picnic lunch for a trip around scenic Schoodic Loop. Great little place, run by friendly, hard workers. Red Pepper soup was outstanding. My wife was tired of me saying, "holy cow, this soup is really outstanding." Don't get it on your white shirt while eating in your car, though 😩. Great little place.

Stopped in for late breakfast on way to hike Schoodic Point. Very clean and bright, quick and friendly service. Family of 4 all tried something different and all enjoyed meal. We liked it so much we went back after sightseeing to grab coffee and cookies.

We stopped here for take-out sandwiches before we bicycled in the Schoodic Peninsula section of Acadia National Park. The service was good, the sandwiches were tasty and included cole slaw and chips, and the price was very reasonable. It is really a sit-down classic Maine breakfast-and-lunch restaurant and seems popular with local folks as well.

My wife and I spent three days in Prospect Harbor. We spent a morning exploring the Schoodic Peninsula and Winter Harbor and needed to find a place for lunch. We were there in late Sept. so many places were already closed for the season. We were very pleased to find that Gerrishes was open. We were warmly greeted and quickly... More

Great place to have lunch before or after visiting North Acadia Park (Schoodic Peninsula). Just off Rte. 186, it offers a variety of soups, sandwiches and salads. A nice place.

This pit stop on the way to Schoodic Point was a nice dining experience. Winter Harbor is a tiny little town with just a few shops, but the restaurant was open and the blueberry pie was delicious. The ruben was also not to be outdone. Friendly service. All around worth the stop. Also worth heading across the street to the... More

They had some of the best clam chowder I have ever had. The bowl was very large and yummy. They make it there and it is filled with clams. It is a welcoming place and would be happy to try more.

Well maintained building of a bygone era or one built to appear so. Closes at 3. Closes for winter. Sandwiches, desserts and ice cream are available. Right on the Main Street. Operated by local women. Great place to have ice cream. Well worth a stop. Check out the 5 & 10 across the street.

Ate outside on a pleasant, sunny day. Had a good lunch of hearty clam chowder and sandwich. We would go back when next in the neighborhoos.
