Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast experience at Miss Wiscasset Diner. We called ahead to reserve the large table for our party of 7, it was ready when we arrived. The waitress warmly greeted then seated us, followed by hot coffee filling our old fashioned mugs (all mismatched, very creative). She gave us time to review and choose from the varied items... If you really want an all-American breakfast then i highly recommend a stop at Miss Wiscasset Diner on Route 1 in Wiscasset, Maine. You get a really big bang for your buck. They also serve lunch and have specials for both breakfast and lunch. So go and enjoy.

If there was a contest for the best sausage gravy and biscuit gravy on the coast of Maine there is no question that Miss Wiscasset would win, hands down. Right amount of sausage, right amount of pepper, right amount of Biscuit. What more do you want.

While we were out enjoying the fall foliage we decided to stop here for lunch. We started with a hot drink and shared a freshly made blueberry. The muffin was huge and delicious. For lunch I had a Rachel sandwich and must say it was the best I've ever had. My husband had the Chicken Fried Steak and he loved... More

We stopped for a late breakfast, there was only 1 other table of guests, just finishing up. Service was prompt, but she forgot our hash--which we wanted to try since theirs was homemade. The server who brought our order--someone from the kitchen--quickly went back to make it. There wasn't much meat in it, but what was there was good. The... More

Had two breakfasts at Miss Wiscasset. Both were exceptional. Friendly staff and easy-going, relaxed atmosphere.

The restaurant attracts a crowd and you may find that you have to wait for your meal but we were impressed with the way they hustled to meet the demand. Breakfast was fine and we would stop again if we were ever in the area.

We went in for breakfast, and couldn't believe how long we had to wait for our food. An hour?! My husband asked the server if he could bring me a piece of bread or crackers, because my blood sugar was diving. The server said no, we had to wait in line like everyone else! That is our last visit.
