We were hungry and stopped at the first non-nationwide chain eatery we could find. The interior was dated and mismatched with an eclectic display of local art and other decorations. Frankly, it could have used a good scrubbing. The food more than made up for it. My wife had haddock and I had a burger. We waddled out with smiles... More

Recommended by the hotel we were staying at. NOT to be confused with the chain, Ruby Tuesday. It is a locally-owned restaurant. Great staff, food, and prices...what more could anyone ask for? Locals and visitors alike. Had a roast of beef dinner with two sides, my friend had the same thing and neither of us could finish it! Excellant drinks... More

A diverse menu with something to satisfy everyone. Rustic, charming atmosphere with friendly staff. Great place for a cold beer and good food, even the salads. I ordered the taco salad. I was expecting ground beef but was surprised with shredded beef. Very good & their homemade salsa made it that much better.

We go to the York Maine area every fall and Ruby’s is our first stop. We usually arrive around lunch time on a Sunday and stop in for a nice lunch and watch the 1:00 football games. The bar area was crowded and everyone cheering as we all watched the New England Patriots defeat the Chicago Bears. We generally go... More

Looking for a place for dinner, stopped because we saw a lot of cars and wanted meat. Noisy and worn furniture. A lot of choices, not very expensive, we tried the BBQ ribs. Sauce was good but the ribs could have been cookes more - we are used to fall-off-the-bone ribs and these weren't it. Good size draft beer. Won't... More

We were on a long trip home to Maine and decided to we would stop for dinner once in Maine. Glad we did. I had hamburger pizza. Nice thin crust and the right amount of spice. My son had the chicken alfredo. Was suppose to come with broccoli but he asked for it without. This also had a nice blend... More

On our way to the beach, we see this beautifully situated Bar n Grill and decide to grab a beer, instead. Am I glad we did. You'll never meet a livelier, nicer place. The Irish Nachos were amazing and the Fowl Fingers n Blue Cheese, incredible! The draft Bock... Makes me wish my stomach were a bottomless pit! Definitely worth... More

I had a delicious hot pastrami sandwich, and my husband had the fried chicken. There would have been enough chicken for us to share, and plenty on the side dishes, as well. The place is noisy, which isn't what we like, but the food made up for that inconvenience.
