Charming spot in upscale suburban shopping center with nice outdoor deck for dining weather permitting. All dishes prepared in traditional french manner. Risotto with scallops outstanding as was duck breast special. Salads overpriced and nothing special Deserts excellent but stick with pastries and cakes. Crepes were doughy and not worth ordering. Wines on the pricey side.

With our wives out of town, a friend and I had dinner here which was excellent. Dining outside was very pleasant and my dinner of rockfish and creme brulle just right. My friend had escargo and a huge burger, All were enough for a filling dinner

I was so glad my friend suggested meeting at Praline this morning - I've never been but I've heard others rave about it. We ate upstairs (opens at 10am) and were offered outside seating. It was a beautiful morning and we were led to a lovely deck with umbrella tables and beautiful plants and flowers. It was perfect. We were... More

A favorite in the neighborhood, Praline is nestled in among the Summer Shops in a small shopping center just north of MacArthur Blvd. A tempting array of pastries, bagels, bread, etc. makes it difficult to choose something light for breakfast. A full menu of coffee options added to something from the bakery makes a terrific breakfast. Spartan interior but a... More

Praline has changed their menu considerably since we last dined there. What has not changed is some of their standards such as the steak friets which was as good as it has always been. They have added a series of crepe dished and I had the one with seafood which was excellent as was their creme brule. A very nice... More

Tried to come here for brunch before starting my new job. They don't actually serve brunch until later in the morning than when we arrived. We sat down and had some croissants and coffee. It was alright.

Following the disengagement if the owner and departure of the chef the place keeps going down in friendliness, service and food quality. The lady greeting customers is grumpy and sometimes rude, several times until we stopped coming the food was poor and sometimes undercooked, and the service in bakery is just not there. We used to come here twice or... More

Exquisite French pastries, quiches and macarones. Their swan shaped meringues, napoleons and cocoa dusted "urchin" cake are show stoppers. The bistro upstairs is also very good. Coffee is just OK. Compare to "Paul" patisserie or the Poupon in Georgetown.

First visit was for Christmas dinner, and we were pleasantly surprised. Wine list and stock were not in sync, but the bottle we ordered was sublime. Charcuterie offered a brief transport to a Paris bistro. Osso bucco was fork tender and flavorful, lamb stew hearty and rustic. Bùche Nöel among the best I've had. Service is friendly and attentive without... More

This yummy little spot is in the office building where I work. Their Lemon Drop cookies offer your taste buds a deliciously fresh treat. The freshly made sandwiches are a hit too. My favorite is the Chicken Salad on fresh crusty French bread. Unfortunately, other enjoy it as well. It mystifies my why they don't make more of these sandwiches... More
