In summer, Praline has a very nice terrace on top of the building. With his good french traditional plates and wine, having lunch in Praline is a very pleasant experience.

Although I have been to Praline a few times for lunch and have bought many goodies from the bakery, I had not been there for dinner. Three of us dined here on a recent summer night, and we all enjoyed the experience. Our server, Andres,...More
I've eaten here twice and enjoyed it both times. As for the food, I wasn't overly fond of my chicken pot pie. I'd order something different next time. Only one of us really raved about their food (the quenelles). Small martinis, good wine list. The...More
I've been eating at Praline for years. Admittedly about 8 months ago it was looking and tasting a bit dreary. It's had a face lift, they have a new chef and a new manager from Nice. What a turn around. I've actually been 5 times...More
Not only is the food very good, the service is excellent. While this isn't an inexpensive restaurant, the outdoor seating availability, pastries and abundant parking more than make up for prices. We all had fun and vowed to return. I recommend this restaurant highly.

We went for lunch on a Thursday. We didn't arrive until 1:30 pm so there were few patrons. We chose to eat inside as it was very hot outside. We have purchased pastries and ficelle sandwiches to take home but had never eaten here. The...More
Walking in downstairs, you realise this is authentic French pastry, macaroons, chocolates; all made on site. Yummy. We buy our Buche de Noel here. Upstairs, the restaurant has nice salads, croque monsieur and madame, daily specials - and a second floor, umbrella-ed patio which catches...More
Totally professional staff, warm greeting, and beautifully presented food. Praline is hard to beat for lunch or dinner. The crusty baguette slices are addictive, frites perfectly fried, and entrees all well thought out, seasoned and cooked as requested. Make sure to save room for something...More
This neighborhood restaurant in the Sumner area of Bethesda offers consistently high quality French classics. Last night we got a reservation at the last minute and had great soups, coq au vin & cod beurre blance--all really outstanding. Have been a number of times and...More
