The first of the great chefs to come to America Jose Andres and his team continue to impress with outstanding food and wine. Love this place and go often. Do yourself a favor and explore the menu!

I had heard great things about Jaleo and was not disappointed. There was 3 of us during restaurant week. We tried 12 different things and desert. We had salmon, pork, calamari, and lots of vegetable and salad type dishes. They were all great! There was a constant flow of dishes. Our server was helpful and explained each dish with patience.... We dined here with a group of 6 recently, and had an extraordinary meal, VERY outstanding service and atmosphere. My daughter is a French trained chef, and really wanted to visit one of José Andrés's restaurants, so friends we were visiting took us here as was more convenient than downtown DC. We were NOT disappointed. I had my two granddaughters,... More

We have been before and like the place. This time we had the Restaurant Week lunch.. It is obviously not as good as a la carte, but still pretty good for $18 pp. Attention was good, but the dishes tended to come together, .not one after other. .

Brunch at Jaleo - Who knew? Special brunch menu with a lot of options. $25 gets you a drink (Mimosa or juice), two appetizers and a main dish. Decent portions, and with a group, plenty of tasting options. The food was very good - interesting combinations. The service was excellent. Very pleasant surroundings. Highly recommended.

It turns out that there are at least three Jaleo's in the Washington DC area: in DC itself, in Virginia and in Bethesda. We went to Jaleo in Bethesda after a movie. I've long been a connoisseur of Spanish cuisine and Jaleo's is excellent. Let's start with the two minor disappointments. First, the red sangria struck me as a bit... More

We come here, because the food is good and unique. Menu changes/tweeked often with the seasons. We typically get 5 tapas--and that's plenty for us. Bacon wrapped dates, grilled octopus with squid ink special, baked pasta, onions with blue cheese and something else (not memorable, i guess). Can get pricey. Fast, but good service. Recommend reservations during prime time. Outdoor... More

Went with my boyfriend on our first few weeks. Loved the spot. Serves tapas and amazing sangrias. The location is great and decor really pretty. Service was good. They understood right away we wanted to be left alone so they only checked on us when we needed service.

Having walked by Jaleo dozens of times , I always say we must go. Well, we finally went and it was fantastic! The cocktails- delish. The choices of dishes, assured by our knowledgeable server, meant we had a wonderful variety satisfying all four of us. I can't recommend specific dishes because there are so many which tempt different tastes. Listen... More

This is a very good Spanish tapas restaurant with many choices. I had been here several years ago with friends and had a great experience. I also had a good time on this occasion Wednesday evening with a friend. Our menu choices consisted of: Confit of leeks seared with almonds and goat cheese - $11, Iberia pork tenderloin with blue...
