The food was great! Best salsa I have ever had. Other guests raved about the queso. All of the food tasted fresh and was filling. The drinks were also great. No one left dissatisfied with the food. However, everyone did agree that the prices were...More

For me, this place has the best Fajitas by far. The Plato Gordo is the ultimate Fajita extravaganza I have yet to experience. The shrimp are HUGE! Grilled to perfection. The ribs alone are a meal. If you are with a group of 3-4 and...More

While the entire experience was ( and is) great at Uncle Julio's, the chips and salsa are the bomb!! The chicken soup hit the spot as 'medicine' for a cold recovery. ALL of the entrees are really good, and the drinks are top notch!

I love Uncle Julios. I have been coming here for years whenever I'm in town visiting family. There food is consistently good. I get the chips and salsa which are always fresh. Then I get the chicken fajitas which are also great! There drinks are...More

So, I'll preface this by saying I've been here before and quite enjoyed it. This time I was less than impressed. The food was average Mexican fare - same as you'd get elsewhere, and although the service was friendly -- it was slow.... We had...More

I grew up in D.C. so I savour the idea of dining out during my visits. I was with friends and they insisted we go there for dinner. We started with chips and salsa and a round of margaritas. The chips were crispy and fresh...More

Chips, Salsa and Guacomole (made fresh at your table) are an awesome combination for happy hour or as an appetizer to your main course of beef or chicken fajitas, jicama topped salad (enormous portion), or the red and green sause chicken enchiladas. A consistent favorite;...More

It was super loud inside, so we ate outside. I liked the chips - thin, crispy, mild salt - although some were a little oily. The margarita was good, but small and weak for $10. I got the chicken fajita quesadilla, which was only okay....More
