This is a beautiful venue for an intimate dinner for two or a large event such as a wedding, party, etc. We had our wedding dinner here and our guests loved it. The decorations are beautiful and the food is amazing. I've never had a steak as tender as I have here. The chef enjoys putting his own touch on... More

Beautiful building and grounds. Once you enter the story takes a turn for the worst. We had to wait to be seated (not crowded). We waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the table. The menu was a joke and the prices were also. 2 minutes later we were back in the car looking for somewhere else to calm... More

I recently went to the Inn with a group of five for lunch from my office for a Christmas celebration. The only positive thing I can say is that the building is quaint and attractively decorated, in a grandma's house sort of way. When the menus came, we all stared at each other in surprise. My boss tried to open... More

There were four of us, we had a 7:00 PM reservation. We were seated promptly, and the wait began. The waiter arrived about 5 minutes after we were seated to take drink orders. It took about ten minutes to get the drinks. The waiter took our order for 2 portions of calamari for the table. It took almost half an... More

So disappointing. This is a lovely old mansion with a series of tastefully- decorated rooms making up the restaurant. So what was the problem? Seven of us arrived for lunch around 12.20, chatted a while over the water and put in our sandwich order around 12.40. We then didn't see a waiter or any staff for 40 minutes. In the... More

The Inn at Brookeville Farms did a nice job last night with a 40 person surprise birthday dinner. The staff seemed well trained although at times invisible. After the main course was served, no one from the staff entered the room for a long time so it was difficult to get more water or anything else. The main course, a... More

I've been to the Inn at Brookeville Farms twice. Once for brunch and most recently for dinner. The property and grounds are lovely and I can envision a beautiful event at The Inn. The main level of the restaurant is nicely appointed and perfect for a date, brunch with the girls, etc. Both times I visited the service was great... More

Went for brunch. Found the breakfast items underwealming We ended up ordering off the lunch menu and all had great sandwiches. The goat cheese tart as an appetizer was very good. The Bloody Mary prices are a bit step $10 for a small glass. Otherwise we enjoyed ourselves.

Went to the Brookeville Inn to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday. The food was fine. We really enjoyed our server Zachary who was just hilarious. He was great at making recommendations off the menu. I only wish that what came out of the kitchen was worth what we paid for it. The filet mignon was $35 and I can get... More

While I would rate our last meal at the Inn as "good" (no such box available to check), I would not say "very good" mainly because of the offerings and quantity on the 59.95 fixed menu on New Year's Eve. While it was purportedly 4 courses, we felt that the first course (carrot & roe soup) hardly qualified as a... More
