Our group of 20 had dinner here in a back room, along with another group. So, it was quite noisy and hard to carry on a conversation other than with people sitting close. Food is good to very good. Upcharges for bread with meal. Vegetarian options are very limited. Good beer selection, of course. Probably a better spot for a... More

Everything I am looking for in a good restaurant. While they focus on beers, they do make a few other cocktails and have wine. The cucumber mule zero was quite good as was the crabcake. I'm not sure the cinnamon raisin bread croutons work in the caesar salad, but that might be the only drawback to the evening. Make reservations... More

The server, Jordan, was great. Very friendly and helpful. Most guests had a good food experience. The restaurant did run out of prime rib even though it was a slow night. The guests who got the prime rib got a thin overcooked price of meat. Two of them had to sent back and an alternative meal has to be selected.... More

The High Spot Cambridge, MD I hope as up for a light meal but ended up being much larger than we had anticipated. I ordered a fantastic drink called a Caramel apple mimosa which was made using a Caramel rimmed glass, caramel vodka, apple cider and Prosecco. It was a little sweet, very crisp, light and very refreshing. We started... More

I went there to meet friends. I ended up getting an order of fried green tomatoes. They might be one of my favorite foods-- and High Spot did not disappoint. Now, I'm not a big fan of the jumbo crab meat they put on top (one because it does not add to the deliciousness of the tomato, two--it hikes the... More

My husband and I decided to dine here for our Valentines dinner. We decided to eat from the special holiday menu. The food was wonderfully prepared. There were some issues with our salad arriving too soon after our appetizer and the entrée being warm but not hot, but we would give the restaurant a second try. The baked brie was... More

Had dinner with two business associates. The restaurnat was not very busy, perhaps Tuesday night traffic, however, it was not a reflection of the amazing experience we had. We were greated by a very friendly server who throughout the entire dinner kept eye contact with us. We had truffle fries, Buffalo Oysters and the fried Cauliflowers for appetizers, blackened Rockfish... More
