First class meal. Great ambiance. Good real ale and hospitable proprietor front of house. A great evening at a fair price.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch here again - the pigeon breast & scallops starters were excellent, while the fish & chips and the lamb mains were also very good. All washed down with a very good pint of Bass. We will return

Nothing is too much for this stunning pub and restaurant. They stayed open for us after a busy service to make a 13 year old feel very special. My lad and his mates were truly looked after with great food and service. The adults were...More

Best meal I’ve had in ages. Not really a pub you come across by accident as it’s in a small village in the foothills of the Clwydian range. Relaxed atmosphere with good buzz on Thursday night. Shabby chic decor and really tasty food - cut...More

We called in for lunch as passing on the way back from holiday. We both had different chicken baguettes and were amazed by the excellent quality. Just wish we lived nearer.

The White Horse Restaurant is located in the hamlet of Hendrerwydd near Ruthin within the Vale of Clwyd, North Wales Surrounded by stunning scenery and overlooking the Clwydian hills, it's a place to leave the busy world behind and come and enjoy good food and a wide selection of beverages. With two roaring fires to cosy up too during the colder winter months and alfresco dinning on the decked area to enjoy the stunning scenery by candle light during the warmer summer months. Our 2014 menu offers a thoughtful take on British dining using a wide selection of seasonal and Welsh ingredients. We always keep two well looked after real ales, always one from microbreweries as close as possible to the White Horse.
