The restaurant itself used to be an old house so it has character. he rooms are nicely decorated. The food was good with a nice menu. We had soup to start and that really hit the spot on that cold evening. The pizza was good....More

Their home made creamy of crab soup is delicious! It has a good amount of crab meat. I was so satisfied with that soup and a goat cheese & arugula pizza. The restaurant is almost 200 yrs old and was a civil war hospital.

It was a cold evening here, and the restaurant was full. We entered through the pub, but were seated upstairs. The staff was friendly, but it took a long time for our pizza to come out...people who arrived after us got their food first. When...More

It was cold! Sop cold, when we stopped in on the way home, we asked for the warmest room. Upstairs? Downstairs? We were told downstairs, in what used to be the building's wine cellar. The space is really cozy and inviting, but warm? We put...More

I love this place, their menu choices are not available anywhere else in Cumberland, MD. From their wood fired Pizza to their specialty sandwiches they have some really interesting fare. I suggest the Crab Dip, and the Crab Pizza above all things. I also recommend...More

We stopped in for dinner after noticing this restaurant as we drove by on I-68. Everything was just right. We don't drink alcohol, so can't comment on wine, but the food was great. I had lasagne with Manhattan clam chowder; my companion had a margherita...More

What a cool old building turned into a pizza/pasta joint. We ate in the basement which was a great atmosphere. Food is decent. We enjoyed the crab dip appetizer. Most of us got pizza. We enjoyed it, but the crust is very thin, almost too...More

Went to eat at this restaurant because of the great reviews I read. We were very disappointed. The pizza didn’t look anything like the picture. Not crispy, it was on the soggy side. I will say that the cream of crab soup was delicious!

Mice....Saw 3 in thirty minutes. Mice were not shy. Scurrying under diners tables. Bad sign. Informed our waitress but she was well aware and apologetic. Will never return to this place.

My husband has life threatening peanut and tree nut allergies and safely ate here. I think if you stick to pizza, there is less risk. That is what he did. It is always a risk eating out with allergies, which stinks.
