Very small place but the food is fabulous and prices are reasonable. I had the chicken supreme and switched the pasta for linguini. Also told them to make it extra spicy. OMG the best thing I had on this whole trip! Service was good. We did enjoy the place very much.
Hubby and I eat out at least weekly- we look for good food, good beer and wine choices, and good service. The Baltimore Street Grill suits! Superior onion rings, cheeseburgers, and a varied selection of Cajun style food. Terrific mussels, too. The place is small, can be loud, and the service can be uneven. But - in Cumberland, it's one... More
Close to an excellent rating but just not quite there. The only downside to me was the facility. It was a bit narrow with only about 8-9 smaller tables and a bar to seat about 10. While these don't really go together I decided to try the Gumbo and the Chicken Alfredo. Both were served hot and had a great... More
When a native from Maryland's eastern shore--famed for its crabs--says "best ever," you sit up and take notice. Truly, it tasted so fresh I though I'd see live crabs march into the kitchen. Other things we liked: --Cajun inspired menu, but other choices available --QUIET TV allows actual conversation (sit close to TV if you want to watch the game)... More
Downtown Cumberland is quiet, but there are couple of good restaurants. One we visit normally is closed but the remodelers suggested the Baltimore Grill just around the corner. A good choice. Their sandwiches and soups are superb for the money. The food is Maryland--with lots of crab and other Chesapeake Bay food. My husband had crab soup, we split a... More
My wife and I had dinner here. Food was good and the beer was reasonably cold. Service was okay. The place was packed when we arrived about 5 so I advise coming early.
Great atmosphere. Homey. Great happy hour pricing on pints. Great service. Tonight's meal? Disappointing. Jalapeno poppers? Overcooked. Shrimp and Tasso? Fewest shrimp in this dish than ever. Five. And, the dish was lukewarm. Looked like I would have had to skim the fat from the sauce. May have to order something different next visit. :( Not giving up.
