We had dinner here and it was such a treat! We ate on the side porch and the weather was gorgeous. So nice to sit outside and enjoy nature. Food was good as well.

About 15 minutes off the main road is a rustic gem. A lodge feel with a warm, welcoming vibe. Food is tasty, but a bit overpriced. Really enjoyed the combined burger - great flavors. Burgers cooked on the lighter end so be sure to ask...More

Was there in winter with light snow and fire in fireplace. Staff could not have been more accommodating. Rather than in dinning room they served lunch by the fireplace with view of the outside and snowing. Food and service was excellent, well above expectations.

Folks, this place is a gem! Well hidden and certainly out of the way, but worth every bit of effort. Charming lodge. Only a few tables on our visit, the staff were most attentive! The food is outstanding, I cannot wait to come back! As...More

We ate both lunch and dinner at the lodge. The Salmon Corn Chowder had large chunks of salmon in every spoonful and the zinfandel on the menu (by the glass) was delightful. Dinner offered nice choices including two vegetarian main courses.

Second time this year and glad to go back again sometime. Just having to drive the long, tree lined, tree covered, unpaved road lets you know that you are going to a different kind of place. The lodge is pretty authentic in appearance but still...More

My husband and I were staying at the Savage River Lodge and ate dinner both nights at the restaurant. A bit off season, so the restaurant was not crowded either night, which was great. Waiters were very pleasant and helpful in describing the dishes. One...More
