We Love Twinny's and are willing to travel about 20 minutes to get there. Cheese Steaks are our favorite, and the small is just right for us. Enough fries come on a side order to share.

Friendly hometown atmosphere. Great for a quick lunch, this little spot has the best oyster stew anywhere available from November to April and other good homemade soups like their cream of crab. For breakfast, try their wonderful, crepe-style pancakes or omelets.

The food was good and the service okay but this restaurant is not for me. An example of why not would be that after using the restroom one must wash their hands in a centrally-located wash stand right next to the diners.

Fast and friendly service. We ate here two days in a row because the food was so good. With two little kids they made sure they had grilled cheeses asap to keep them happy. Yummy crab soup and fresh delicious chef salad. Haven't had anything we didnt like yet. Will be back often!

We stopped in for breakfast and they were crowded with locals sounded like everyone in the place knew each other. The food was very good came out quick and hot. My girlfriend wanted to pay for breakfast since i had just got dinner the night before, i stepped into the restroom when our waitress brought the check where she was... More

Out for a bike ride and stopped in for a late lunch. Cheese steaks were really good as was the grilled cheese and ham. Everything was freshly made and hot. The BLT looked awesome but we didn't want to ask the folks at the table next to us for a bite!

Stopped here by chance. Outstanding lunch at a great price. The best cheese steak sub I've had in years. Even better than a genuine Philadelphia Cheese steak. The onion rings are perfectly prepared and not a bit of grease. The apple sticks are an absolute must have. We will be back.

A trip to the Galena area wouldn't be complete without at least one meal at Twinnys. Breakfast is a no nonsense affair with scapple cooked just the way it should be, thin with a good crust or the traditional comfort food - chipped beef and toast. And what a price bargin! Lunch favorites not to miss include the crab soup,... More
