Went here for a fund-raiser for a firefighter in need medical treatment and applaud them for helping out! The beer was good but the food was a little greasy. I had their stuffed potatoes and wings. Was a little disappointed. That being said, it was a fun Irish bar!

To be clear, this review is about MOLLOY'S IRISH PUB, in what used to be the Irish Channel pub. I haven't been here since it was the Irish Channel; it looks pretty much the same both inside and out, maybe slightly cleaner. Still, one rarely goes to an Irish bar for that sort of thing, its just something I tend... More

Reuben sandwich was very good, as was the Smithwick's Ale on tap. However, service was slow and the prices are high. Nothing to go out of your way for.

The staff is relatively friendly, however the food is lackluster. They have decent happy hour prices, but other than that there isn't really anything that stands out on the menu. you could make this place into a decent "regulars" location, but I definitely wouldn't travel to the area just to visit this bar. Location wise, it's a little out of... More

If there is such a thing, this is your run-of-the-mill Irish pub. They offer a few 'inspired' dishes, its mostly American fare. They serve Guinness in what I call 'mini' glasses; a minor pet peeve. Their potato-leek soup is actually pretty good. They have a large selection of beers, both on tap and in bottle and an ok wine list... More

So we called ahead of time . Was told whiskey and the kidney stones was to start at 9pm. Had dinner and drinks. Food was just ok. So a terrible warm up band came on at 1015 pm. Suffering through 45 mins of that the main band came on and it was sadly unimpressive.

This is an Irish pub. The food was delirious. I have tried several dishes here and have loved each of them. The restaurant is now called Molloy's. Went many times to paint nite here. I recommend trying a visit.

We were excited to go to this bar/restaurant since it was our friend's bday. We went in a late afternoon Saturday when the place was practically empty. There were about 8 of us and we were thirsty and hungry. The food was descent, nothing to get too excited about. The drinks however were served by our waiter without a clue.... More

I didn't eat here, only stopped in for a pint while in the area. Bartender was great! Friendly and helpful. Lots of beers available. Not many people in the place on a weekday afternoon, but all were friendly. They also have live bands every Friday and Saturday. This could easily be my "Cheers" bar if I lived in the neighborhood!

What a disappointment. We had wanted to try here for a while so since we were in the area stopped for lunch on a sat afternoon. Got there around 120pm, no one in the place except for a small group doing wine and paint. Sign said wait to be seated so we waited and waited, after about 10 min the... More
