Ended up with a bad taste in my mouth. Good size of food but def overuse of liquid smoke which really just ruins the food.

The sides were pretty good - especially the mac-and-cheese. The bbq was good, but not great. My spare ribs were pretty lean, without much meat, so if I hadn't ordered so many sides, I'd have been hungry when I left.

BBQ chicken tortilla salad = $9.99 and a fountain drink is $1.99. Great service, clean place this time. No issues at all!!!

I recommend me this place to everyone! Every time I visit, they seemed to up their game and make better food. Price is average, but portions are large. Give it a chance, you won't be disappointed. Cheers

Hadn't been here in years. Decided to go when passing by. Split beef brisket and 1/2 rack of ribs and 4 sides (beans, cole slaw, potatoe salad and mac & cheese). Also had cornbread. All very good. We liked the selection of sauces. Actually too much food for us! Only negative--out of root beer.

My roommate and I were in the mood for barbecue, so I went to Urban Bar-B-Que on Chapman Ave. in Rockville to get carry-out. I ordered a Brisket Plate with cornbread, baked beans and fries, and my roomie wanted a Brisket & Sausage Plate with cornbread, mac & cheese, and potato salad. Service was quick and polite. I was disappointed... More

Had the brisket salad and it was really good. Brisket was very good and tender. All the sauce options were great and everyone really liked what they got!

The closest thing you will get to authenic Texas level smoked brisket in Rockville. We eat at this place often! The cornbread is fantastic though and could eat it with every meal.

In the mood for some ribs? Urban BBQ is a good place to satisfy that urge with very good rib offerings, slow cooker brisket, smoked sausage, corn bread, pulled BBQ and iced tea. Good for eat in or carryout. This place is just a block off the Pike next to the big piano store on Twinbrook. Plenty of parking right... More

Hard to find back inside the strip mall.... Glad we did. Barbecue was solid except the ribs which is why I gave them 4 out of 5. Rib meat was tough and inedible. The brisket & pulled pork was exceptional as were the sides and corn bread! Great craft beer selection and staff was super friendly and helpful.
