My wife and I had lunch at J's yesterday. Nice venue in a 1920's vintage room overlooking the property. My wife haf a very tasty salad and the chicken salad sandwich. I had carrot soup and the grilled cheese. The soup was rather bland but the sandwiches were outstanding. My wife didn't want desert so I ordered some lemon thing... More

A quaint New England farmhouse atmosphere greets you as you come inside. Even though it is busy, you can still hear the soft jazz playing in the background. The tables are spread apart for more private communication. The menu is perfect including lobster, chops, chicken and pheasant. The service was excellent and the wine list extensive. I also felt it... More

Coming from Dallas, we Texans go nuts over quaint New England eateries that transport us to a colonial yesteryear far from beer and bar-b-que. J's is such a place down a Bolton farm road nestled in an ancient apple orchard among the rolling vineyards. The old farmhouse is decorated with antiques and her windows offer views of church steeples in... More

My wife and I enjoyed a New Years Eve meal together at J's. Our experience began as we drove up. J's is located in a charming, older farmhouse that is beautifully illuminated at night. Inside, we were shown to a cute table up on the second floor. The entire evening was wonderful. We had a great waitress. Our six course... More

We had a wonderful experience here for lunch; the setting, the ambiance - stellar. The restaurant is in an original farmhouse building, so you may be seated in any one of many small, lovely rooms, tastefully, authentically decorated. Feel free to walk around, you don't want to miss any detail in any of the rooms! The views of the vineyard,... More

We recently had a very tasty lunch at J's Restaurant at the Nashoba Valley Winery. This is located adjacent to the Nashoba Valley Winery and is easily combined with a visit to the Winery itself. Reservations are required for both lunch and dinner at this establishment. I had J's Cioppino which was made up of pan seared cod, littlenecks, PEI... More

We went with my father in law for his birthday--did the wine tour (wonderful) and then made reservations for lunch. Be sure to make reservations! They really stress that on the website. My father in law loved the cioppino. I got the stuffed acorn squash, which basically had beets and barley in the stuffing. I didn't love it. It was... More

We have been patrons of this restaurant for 15 years, and sadly I think tonight may be the last night we frequent this establishment. The attentive staff are no longer present; instead of a few tables the waitress had 5-6. The upstairs used to have tables reserved for larger parties; we had a table there for 10 of us about... Met for lunch and were seated outside as preferred on a gorgeous fall day in New England. Lunch was brought quickly and it was a huge portion.
