Not our first choice as Bonefish was closed! The food here has gone downhill...a lot. I wonder if Bonefish next door was still open if they would have had the same crowd. A bunch of us ate, but my dish was not good. Chicken Breast sandwich with a "hint" of mustard. Nothing like I expected, but I'll know better the... More

This spot is a not-so-expensive, and very good alternative to Seasons 52 and Capitol Grill, located in the same shopping complex. The chef changes the menu periodically and trys new items that are interesting, fresh and high quality, and every evening there's a 'pub food' special that works well for a light appetite. Martini and oysters on Monday, and Tuesday... More

Repeat customers at the bar, bartenders Tracie, Jackie and Tyler are super friendly and always on perfect service. The food is always good, usually specials and half price apps in the afternoon.

We had a couple of wood fired pizza and some chowder and it was pretty good. The home made bread and oil to start is a nice touch. My son loved the homemade raspberry lemonade, it was nice and tart.

The tomato soup was excellent. I got my favorite meal, the smokehouse jambalaya and it was delicious. It is sausage, ham, lingiuca, chicken, veggies and rice in a Cajun themed tomato broth and it is delicious. Our waitress did a great job serving our meal. I am a big fan of Not Your Average Joe's and hope to go there... More

I've been in here a few times now, whilst visiting the office nearby. Its a great place to drop in and grab a bite to eat, with a good selection on the menu and friendly staff to take your order.

I have visited Not Your Average Joe's in Burlington many times. Each time the warm focaccia bread with the olive oil poured atop a pile of grated cheese begins a wonderful dining experience. On my most recent visit, my husband and I tried the butternut squash flatbread that was listed as an appetizer. It is a very generous flatbread -... More

Extremely flavor rich dishes! Been here many times and haven't tried these dishes until tonight! Will definitely get again! The Spaghetti Squash Bolognese was a delicious and nutritious vegetarian friendly and Gluten-Free meal. The Harvest Mac-n-cheese was also delicious with a very little kick and vegetarian (when x'ing the chicken) can also be Gluten-Free when requesting the Gluten-free Pasta.

Service is very good. They have a decent sized gluten free menu and they make sure it was delivered separately to prevent any cross-contamination! Nice atmosphere and not terribly loud so conversation was easy. I am a big fish lover and I had their clam chowder which was excellent, and the herb-crusted haddock. They even let me substitute a veggie... More

First time here, the food was good. We had very friendly service. We were there on a Tuesday night and the place was almost full.

What does creative casual cuisine mean? Exactly what it says. We"re creative, because we reject the same-old-same-old in favor of tastes that are interesting and unique. We're casual because while our food may be worth getting dressed up for, we invite you to come as you are. We're all about cuisine in the sense that our chefs apply high standards of culinary art. There it is. Creative. Casual. Cuisine. If it sounds like your kind of place, then you – like us- are not your average Joe.
