Had the baked haddock with ritz cracker topping, rice and cole slaw and a bottle of water. No alcohol available here so had the water instead. The fish was super fresh and perfectly prepared. The whole meal was very good. You order at the counter and then they deliver it to you once it's done. Good price for how much... More

We returned this year since we enjoyed this place so much last year but were disappointed in the three lobster rolls we had. The lobster was tasteless and was not fresh, seemed like it was made many days ago. Very sad...

I am disappointed in your review, Tracey, as we sell sooo many lobster rolls per day, and we cook our meat fresh a few times every day. Better than that, the lobsters are caught by our own day boat which means they come in fresh every day. This time of the year they are of a softer shell, molting, perhaps... More

On the whim, we tried this place after passing by without even noticing it for so many years. The front of the shop is rather small and more like café looking, but there is a nice big deck in the back that faces marina. I ordered fried clam strips and my husband ordered steamers. They are all great. Fried items... More

Thanks you! We try really hard to keep our prices in line so that people do come back time and again, and obviously you tasted the quality of everything. Lobsters are caught by our boat, daily, soups are homemade and our fryolators are kept immaculate, and of course, everything is cooked to order. Hope to see you again soon. Jean More

Between the amazing location right on the water, and the great whole belly fried clams and delicious cole slaw, this is a regular destination for me. Recently under new ownership, they've even stepped up their game of late and extended the menu to include some broiled items and gluten free things. Definitely worth a stop if you like seafood. They... More

Thanks for all of the great words, and for noticing all the wonderful things about our quaint waterfront eatery right here in Buzzards Bay. I am the original owner, back after a few year sabbatical to raise kids and run a farmstand... and yes, I'm a foodie with a passion for freshness and wholesomeness, thus the grilled, broiled, even poached... Thank you SailynnD! Chowda is homemade daily; so glad you tasted the freshness, and as far as the lobster, we have our own boat and my husband fishes Cape Cod Bay and brings in the best, the freshest lobster there is. Please come again soon. Working on a really fun fall menu with lots of local flavor. - Jean More

East Wind Lobster & Grille – Buzzards Bay, MA – 8/26/2016 This is one of those fun dockside restaurants to enjoy a nice lunch by. You can't beat the location as the patio overlooks the water with boats moored along side… The people are friendly, the food is fast (literally fast-food) as you can expect the usual array of fried... I ordered Lobster mac and cheese and what I got was Lobster over linguine and an alfredo sauce, nothig like mac and cheese. Ordered Chicken fingers for the kids and they were out of them as well as french fries and Crab Rangoon and tomoate salad, which I am not sure why as they were selling tomatoes out front. Ordered... The lobster mac and cheese is the meat of one whole lobster (1/4 lb) sauteed with cheese sauce - homemade 4 cheese sauce - tossed with linguini. - as it's stated on the special board. Sometimes we use other pasta varieties in our specials, but linguini was the pasta that day. And the cheese sauce, HOMEMADE! That's our house mac... More

Coming in from Orlando, on way toCape Cod, I read this place got 4 stars. I should have read farther. Clam chowder had 2 pieces of clam. Lobster roll good but $20? And French fries overcooked and no salt to be found. I got lobster dinner because #1 on menu. Lobster plopped on styrofoam container. It was overcooked and rubbery.... More

Nancy, I am surprised by the comments in your review, and disappointed that you didn't get what you deserved.... our lobsters are caught by my husband on our boat, daily, in Cape Cod Bay. We serve small lobsters as the lobster special and for $15 you get a chick lobster plus fries and homemade slaw. I guess someone cooked it... More

When we visit the Bay we always try to time it so we can have lunch at the East Wind , how can you beat a $15 lobster dinner or a load of steamers with a great piece of sausage and a piece of corn , fresh seafood at reasonable prices that's what we love about this place
