Talk about a throwback! This place was great. My daughter had a PBJ sandwich and I had an olive and cream cheese sandwich. Where can you find that anymore? They came on sandwich bread (choice of white or wheat) with potato chips. The ice water came out in a paper cone cup in a vintage metal holder. Cute!. For dessert... More

Four Seas is a total throwback, and definitely worth a visit. They serve more than a dozen flavors or handmade ice cream and sherbet, as well as light lunch. Lunch consists of your choice of around ten different sandwiches served with wavy potato chips. I can't tell you what ice cream to order because, honestly, they were all good. I... More

Not a lot has changed since I started coming here in the early seventies. Great ice cream, great service, Great Tradition period- I personally love the mint chip coconut, peppermint, and when they have it the ginger. Love it wouldn't change a thing keep it going.

First of all, expect to wait in long lines no matter what time of day you go. (We have waited over an hour - the kids begged us to stay.) However, once you get past the twists and turns of the long lines in the parking lot and get to the old 1950 style counter - seats and all -... More

Thank you for your review. Glad you loved the ice cream. I will agree there are lines at night but no-one has waited for an hour - ever. You might see a short line between 3 and 4:30 as the beach goers leave the beach. Hope you had a Scooper vacation here in Centerville. Did you visit the 1856 General... More

This is apparently THE place to go in the area for a tasty treat. The lines are super long, but move rather quickly. The ice cream is good and not horribly pricey. We walked across the street from our hotel. Not sure I'd drive out of my way to go here, though, as there are many ice cream spots on... More

The village of Centerville is very tiny (but very charming), and Four Seas Ice Cream is one of the star attractions! It's a small place, with lots of wonderful flavors of ice cream, some different ones every night. It's always crowded (our family of 13 walked over there every night or our week's vacation after dinner), but the young people... More

Great ice cream. We stayed down the road a the Long Dell Inn and walked to Four Seas. There was always a good crowd, but the line went unbelievably fast. We will go again next time we visit.

As we have been coming to the Cape the last 40 years, we do go to places out of nostalgia, The Four Seasons Ices cream is one of them. I do not know if the ice cream used to taste better, I do know that it has become very expensive. 2 medium icecreams, = $8.80 U.S. The ice am was... More

Sorry your experience here was not top notch. we'll be glad to compare prices (Price per pound) to anyone on The Cape, Islands, Boston, New Port, or just about any place in New England. Our prices include TAX and we use a mechanical scoop not a rolled scoop (which are slivers of ice cream not a solid scoop; so rolled... More

We've been to Four Seas several times. Ice cream is good - lots of flavors and options. We love the building itself - very unique. Rolling, uneven floors; old; however this may NOT be good for someone unstable on their feet or for wheelchair access. Very narrow and somewhat "hilly" inside and out (my reason for 4 not 5.) We...
