The Chatham fleet unload their catch steps away at the Chatham Fish Pier. This is as fresh as you can get anywhere in the world.

Our experience here is over several years, and extends to buying fish for preparation at home. Nickerson's is the best---for service, quality of fish, cooking advice, congeniality of the staff, and PRICE! I bought great swordfish here multiple times this summer, and their price id $3-$4 a pond cheaper than similar places. As a side bar plus, you can watch... More

It was just fun to go in and check out the live lobsters and all of the fresh fish! We have had the prepared lunches in the past and really enjoyed them.

Stopped by the fish market for a quick lunch for myself and houseguests. Service was friendly and efficient. Lobster rolls and fish and chips were terrific. I always buy my fresh seafood here and have never been disappointed.

New owner in 2009. Now called Chatham Pier Fish Market but many oldtimers still refer to it as Nickerson's. Better service now. Fresh seafood right off the boat; fried perfectly crisp and light. Really good lobster roll packed with meat. Fun for families; watch the seals and in the afternoon watch the boats unloading their catch at the pier. Also... More

We looked forward to ordering from Nickersons. We tried them twice: once for fish frys & once for clams and lobster. Neither time did the food match the hype. Our fish dinners were missing coleslaw and when we asked, we were just told "they ran out". The steamers were ordered that were billed as sandless were so sandy they were... More

We ate lunch at Nickerson's after visiting the fish pier in Chatham. The lobster roll was pricey but delicious. Lobster chunks with just a pinch of mayo - very buttery and flavorful. Melt in your mouth delicious.

If you're renting a house in Chatham and feel like eating lobster, this is the way to do it: call up Nickerson's in the morning, tell them what size lobsters you want, and ask them to steam, crack and split them. Then tell them when you'll pick them up (4:30, 6, or 7). Meanwhile, make some cole slaw, clarify some... More

this is a great place to get FRESH seafood it is less than 50 feet from the pier. They sell al sizes of lobster and a wide selection of other seafood. Prices are good and will box the food for a small fee for travel. It is a busy place on the weekends. But you can order your food and... More

Word of mouth told us to go to this dockside fish market with a take-out window. I ordered a lobster roll & my husband the fried shrimp basket. Both really underscored. My lobster roll was filled with celery and very small shredded pieces of lobster. My husbands fried shrimp were more like coating with a bit of shrimp in the... More
