On Friday night three of us visited Fishbones. It was my first visit and the meal was as good as it gets. We started with one order of crab cake, and two orders of mussels. The crab cake was a single cade but very good size and full of crab - not filing. The mussels were huge and fresh. The... More

One hour wait at 6:30 on a Thursday night -- get there earlier than I did!! Worth the wait. Had Herbed Halibut and it was a massive piece of tenderly cooked fish lightly seasoned, on a delicious bed of spinach cheese risotto. Filling meal meal - and did I mention there was a LOT of fish!! It was a little... More

Friday night dinner, arrived right around 5pm & a good thing we did. We were seated immediately, but those coming soon after had a wait. Good selection on the menu, large beer selection, but would like to see more of a local offering with so many Micro Breweries in the area. Wait staff was very attentive, all that was ordered... Fish Bones is one of the best restaurants in Chelmsford. But if you want to sit at the bar which is quite big and very friendly you have to get there before 5 and that's not even on weekends that's every night of the week ... by 5:30 the whole restaurant will be full and they don't take reservations ...

We decided to visit for lunch around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. We had a hard time finding the restaurant and an even harder time finding where to park mainly because there isn't much signage. We were seated promptly at a small table and after looking over their large selection of seafood items on the menu I ordered the Beer... More

In the area on business, found Fishbones listed on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a shot. Nice area, conveniently located in Chelmsford. Full restaurant on Tuesday evening around 7:15 pm. Sat at the bar and was waited on almost immediately by a friendly waitress. Had a glass of wine, appropriately priced, New England Clam Chowder was some of... More

This little restaurant is a very nice clean place in Chelmsford Center. The service was wonderful. Our server was friendly and quick bringing our drinks. We got the rose sangria and it was delicious. I ordered the mixed seafood grill. It didn't look like a large portion but I was full by the time I finished. I recommend this restaurant.

Very nice lunch. Had calamari which were sweet and tender. Chowder was not really good - would not order again. Seafood casserole was good with shrimp, haddock and scallops all tasty and piping hot. Had sweet potato fries and risotto as sides. The two of us could not finish the meal - even without our taking more than a spoonful... More

Fishbones is a phenomenal restaurant. Although on the higher middle-class side of gastronomical establishments, you get what you pay for in my opinion. Leslie was out waiter last night. An energetic, congenial personality she was attentive to us and our needs. She claimed she had been in the business for 30 years and it showed. She was marvelous. I started... More

No matter the day or time, you are always guaranteed a wonderful meal at Fishbones. Summer brings outdoor seating. Evenings, enjoy the bar or get yourself a table. Be sure to say hello to the neighbor at the next table or seat- you may become friends with someone new. Favorite bites: bacon wrapped sea scallops, strawberry salad, lazyman lobster, lobster...
