Ate a late dinner at 8 PM on 28 February at the Lost Dog with a neighbor. Bar was hopping; dining room was relatively quiet. Great waitress: Brooke. Shared an order of bacon wrapped scallops (6) and six slices of veggie pizza, the beauty and the beast. Neither of us left hungry. While pubs may be for drinking, pub food... More

If you're looking for pub food, there are plenty of other choices. It's very dark and dingy inside and could use some updating - almost makes you feel like you don't want to eat here, although the food isn't bad.

Always good to be at the Dog. Fish Chowder Friday's are great. Atmosphere is classic local pub on the Cape. Food always consistent. SpecTacular oysters. Decent selection of drafts. Staff competent and efficient ..always hustling.

Quick timely service for drinks as that was what we were there for. Also nice and warm with the heat on a February night

This was very much a hap-penance experience. We were in Dennis and not sure what or where to eat. We pulled off the street to turn around and there was the Lost Dog. I said to my wife, "Well we are here......lets give it a shot" And not a disappointment. It was modestly busy, the bar area looked very homey... More

We were sight seeing along Rt 6A and spotted this place just around lunch time. So glad we stopped. A very friendly place with good food. The pub was reasonably busy but not over crowded. We sat at the bar. The bar tender was personable and efficient. Good selections for lunch. We shared an appetizer and had very large sandwiches.... More

Great place. Nothing fancy but good food and reasonable prices. Casual atmosphere. Service was prompt and attentive even on a busy Saturday night. This is a real neighborhood pub in a town with several top-notch restaurants.

The music and the scallops wrapped in bacon are equally incredible. The service at the bar by Glen, is a cross section between The Waldorf, and the Ritz Carlton in Hong Kong

My wife and I stopped in for dinner and we were a little disappointed. We would not consider ourselves regular customers, but we go to have dinner enough times a year. I had the calm chowder which is one of the best on Cape Cod along with fish and chips. The fish was cooked perfectly, nice and moist, batter was... More

We ate at a pub table in the bar. The place was crowded but never got too loud. Food was good, chowder was very good, and the service was excellent.
