One of Martha's Vineyard's great take out shops. Terrific sandwiches and salads. The freshly baked French bread makes every sandwich a delight. And there are so many choices.

I've been buying picnic lunches at Soigné since I led bike tours more than 20 years ago. Pupi makes wonderful salads and sandwiches and has an extensive, eclectic offering of chips, beverages and other goods to complement his fixings. He also has cheeses, wines, and gourmet grocery items. Add to that Pupi's engaging, friendly personality, and you will find yourself... More

My dad likes to visit and bring treats, sometimes he surprises us with a Soigne brownie and a cupcake (chocolate or carrot cake) for my husband and I to share..... What he doesn't know is that I usually eat both before my husband even has a chance... They have created the perfect brownie at Soigne that has ruined all other... More

When what was to be a small cookout turned into a party for 19 I called Soigne and asked them to prepare beef tenderloins. I received an email with a quote, and after ordering checked back several times to offer payment in advance. "Don't worry, tell me what time you would like it!" It was the best beef tenderloin (filet)... More

This is the place to go for delicious sandwiches. The curry chicken salad is the BEST! The Italian and other selections are great too. The bread is fresh and warm. You can enjoy your food in the beautiful, shady backyard next to the garden. Lots of desserts, cheeses, prepared foods and gourmet items also available.

Starting in May, I occasionally email my far-flung family members who gather for the Fourth every year to remind them: "Seven weeks until Soigne." Yes, it's that good (and yes, I'm a bit obsessed). A local introduced us to the place 5 years ago and it's been on our short list ever since. The chicken salad sandwiches, homemade bread, ganache... More

Ordered a sandwich with Henry Lewis Gates, Jr. ( a water) and had a nice conversation with him and the owner. Then Dave Letterman came in and ordered something. Point being, the food is OK, the prices are high .. many of the things for sale probably came form the discount shelf at Rhode Island Job Lot, Marshall's or TKM... More

A bit pricey but we have never had a bad meal at the family favorite. We all love the curry chicken salad and the sesame noodles.
