Every Monday night the sea shanty group "Three Sheets to the Wind" gathers to eat, drink, and share songs. We join them when we can, and enjoy good food and great music, with members taking turns leading songs. The beer list is extensive, the entree choices are limited, but there are lots of appetizers and a selection of sandwiches and... More

I've been there when it's just a small bar and also for an event evening. The event was Sea Shanty Night. No cover and open to the public, it was great fun and terrific camaraderie! The menu is limited pub fare but really good and generous without being too much. Salad is simple but very good. Beer was from bottles... More

Had a lighter meal on temporary tables outside setup for the town's block party. The food was good, drinks selection included local beer and the service was prompt and friendly. The evening's band Mo Bounce offered a really good live act with plenty of energy that drew a lot of people to the dancefloor in the middle of the parking... More

Worth going just to savor the BBQ cooking on hardwood outside on a late summer evening. Excellent, friendly staff. Cozy inside for winter, but one of the best for outside dining when the weather's nice! Fish and chips with Sweet Potato fries excellent fresh haddock - we both loved them.

Sunday early evening. 5:30 - 8:30. Michael O'Leary and friends hold worth with Celtic music that is simple and classic. The walls are brick and the ceiling low. It is easy to feel as if you are in a neighborhood or roadside pub 200 years ago. Get there at 5:30 - there are only 40 seats. Many people are regulars... More

Don't go unless you're going for some other reason than good food, good service, good drink pour, reasonably priced beer or a happy stomach I'm local, and have tried this quaint location numerous times over the past 4 years, each time leaving saying maybe next time it'll be better, they're having a bad night. Looking around this weekend, seems as... More

Went to eat here as prices reasonable compared to the other restaurants. When we went in we were the only people in there, when we left we were the only people in there, despite the waiter/bartender saying it gets busier later on. It was a strange and quiet atmosphere. We both decided on the fish and chips and this was... More

Had dinner here during Gloucester Block Party night. Great outdoor get away tucked behind Main Street. Lobster roll tasty and the southwestern veggie burger spicy and yummy. Server very friendly. Music good too. Because it was the block party the menu was limited but it had plenty of choices to please most folks.

This little gem is a bit off the beaten path. It lies just between Main Street and Rogers Street (there are actually entrances on both sides). There are three different rooms where you can sit. A casual bar (at the bar, or at tables). A dining room (brick walls, fun art). Or a beautiful outdoor patio (if the weather is... More

Nothing memorable. Average fare with late night music. Maybe we'll try their outdoor seating next summer.
