Funky place with an open kitchen. Fun art on the walls. Service was good. Menu was basic but it had some fun stuff on it. Corn chowder was excellent! Partner had grilled salmon on top of the chowder. complained it was way to big as she ate the whole thing ;o). Had chowder and curry chicken sandwich. both dishes were... More

Had a great breakfast this AM at Sugar Magnolias. The French toast was wonderful and the portion was the perfect size. We sat at the counter and had friendly service. Would go back for sure.

My wife and I ate here for the first time this past weekend and it was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. The atmosphere was inviting and they gave us a table right away. We did get there on the earlier end, and as the time when by, the line grew quickly. They seemed to get people... More

We had a lovely brunch here. A very friendly and unsurprisingly very busy place. Highly recommended.

Tremendous breakfast. Had the Special --stuffed french toast with marshmellow sauce, chocolate chunks and fresh strawberries. Simply amazing -- rich, decadent and reasonable. My wife had her own make your own omelette with caramelized onions, mushrooms, spinach and goat cheese. It came with lovely home fries and homemade raisin toast. Great service and a wonderful experience.

Had salmon patty with pepper slices plus French fries. The salmon was ground up and falling apart. you would not know what it was if you did not order it.

Had delicious fish tacos. One serving good for 2! Nice atmosphere looks like locals place. Tad on the noisy side.

The carrot cake pancakes were excellent. I only ordered 1 because I read the pancakes were big, and it was huge. The wait staff was very attentive. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait, but we were seated in about 5 minutes. The breakfast menu was so original--so many choices. I highly recommend Sweet Magnolias.

During our final day of our New England adventure my husband and I loved this local spot. The menu had many mouth-watering options and we chose the steak and eggs to be our main meal of the day. The breakfast potatoes were also delicious!
