I'm a local. This is where I want to go when we go our for breakfast. I get the 56 Hilltop ... and my daughter loves the Charleston (with the pineapple fritters). There will be a wait on Sunday mornings, but then you expect that from a great breakfast spot.

Yum! Went in for breakfast on a Tuesday morning and sat down right away. We ordered the Eggs Bene and Georgia's French Toast. Both were amazing! The French toast was like the ultimate s'more and as big as my head. Delish.

We stopped here for lunch. Food is what you would expect from a diner, nothing extraordinary or special. It wasn't bad, but it really didn't impress us. The name is more interesting than the place or the food.

This was a great experience. I almost skipped it, despite the recommendation of our local hosts, because it seemed like it could be a tourist trap. Coffee wasn't "free" as someone had stated; you just tell the server you had coffee and your free refills continue at the table. Delicious assortment though (was my first pumpkin coffee of the fall!).... More

This place is an enjoyable throwback to a bygone era of great Northeast breakfast places. There's often a long line, so be prepared. One unbelievable thing they do for customers here is that they have self-serve coffee pots in the waiting area. I really needed my morning coffee, and they made sure I got it, even though not even seated... More

Its a really popular place to go to. And they serve ok food. Its only open on weekends and the waiting time is FOREVER, you need to come really early or reserve in advance to skip the waiting - we waited up to 1 and 1/2 hour.

My son and I flew into Boston on a red eye...Sugar Magnolias hit the spot after not much sleep! He is a fan of eggs benedict, and he rates their's in his top two. My veggie scramble was fresh and tasty. Coffee is very good. Great spot!

Have been going to Sugar Mags for a long time and have never been disappointed. It's only open for breakfast and lunch (too bad!), so plan ahead. The food is consistently good, creative, and regional (great fresh fish, lobster, etc.).

This place has it all, great service, great location and great food. You'll find the place packed with locals of all ages. Breakfast cannot be beat, great soups and imaginative salads at lunch
