I enjoyed my dinner here, service was good and so was the food. I had the brick chicken my co-worker had fried chicken (I had entree envy). Probably due to the jalapeño butter served with the corn bread... I will say if you like salt (which I happen to like). They are heavy handed with the salt.... I asked if... More

We sat at the bar and the bartenders were terrific. Shared the goat cheese plate, rabbit skewers and hamburger. Everything was fantastic, but it was a rare opportunity to get really excited by a burger. Wow!!! Dessert was amazing too.

This was delicious comfort food and such a great atmosphere. We visited after sun down and the inside is dimly-lit. It felt so home-y and comfortable. If the Welsh Rarebit is on the menu, try it. It sounds odd on paper but the taste is unbelievable! The fried chicken is juicy, crispy and not greasy. The maple pot de creme... More

One of our favorite GB spots. Farm to table, Englishy food. Cozy in winter and In summer, kids can play on lawn while we wait for food or linger afterward. I would eat here every week if I could.

I always try to arrange to eat at Prairie Whale when I go to GB. The food is great (best burger!), they have a good selection of beers, and dessert is always special. So far I have been for dinner in the fall/winter months, when the atmosphere is very cozy. Great place to take your Simon's Rock student out to... More

One of the best meals I have ever had! I had the pork goulash with spaetzle (one of my favorites that is so rare to see on a menu!) and it was so flavorful. My husband had the steak and it was so buttery and melted in the mouth. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in GB.... More

We have eaten here quite a few times now and have nothing but awesome experiences. The food is well cooked and inventive. The wait can be long, they do not take reservations.
