We love this restaurant - always a warm welcome followed by an often changing and always delicious menu. It's a great addition to the area,

This was delicious comfort food and such a great atmosphere. We visited after sun down and the inside is dimly-lit. It felt so home-y and comfortable. If the Welsh Rarebit is on the menu, try it. It sounds odd on paper but the taste is...More

One of our favorite GB spots. Farm to table, Englishy food. Cozy in winter and In summer, kids can play on lawn while we wait for food or linger afterward. I would eat here every week if I could.

We have eaten here quite a few times now and have nothing but awesome experiences. The food is well cooked and inventive. The wait can be long, they do not take reservations.

We sat at the bar. Had nice conversation with the bartender. Had delicious sandwich and omelet. And argued about who would be the designated driver since the wine list is really impressive. The fact that this place was packed at lunch says a lot, too.

Together with my wife, we had a dinner yesterday at the Prairie Whale because most of the places in the town were closed. The menu was not very exciting. Four dishes with a chicken (KFC?). We had goulash. It was good, but very small portions...More

The Prairie Whale's signature dish is well worth a try... But is not shy on salt so if you've issues with such things let your server know in case the saline solution can be mitigated... If not, you can opt for another of this locals'...More
