Great flavors of homemade ice cream, and generous portions. My wife and I have come here for years, and we always bring guests and grandchildren when they visit.

This is always a favorite ice cream stop, we make it at least 4 or 5 times a summer. It has a huge parking lot and some nice outside seating. The young people working there are very friendly and with 3 windows usually open the line goes quickly. And the ice cream is delicious.

Schoolhouse Ice Cream in Harwich is a good place to grab dessert after dinner, a long day out exploring Cape Cod on the boat, or relaxing at the beach. They have a great selection of homemade ice cream and will definitely not disappoint.

This is a nice little ice cream place that has lots of interesting flavors to choose from. It has indoor and outdoor seating (on the patio or porch), so you can enjoy your treat outdoors, but in the shade.

Stopped at the Schoolhouse Ice Cream yesterday for an afternoon treat and was glad I did. I had a small peppermint ice cream cone which was very generous. The ice cream was fresh and creamy. Super place for a treat.

Luckily, we were told about SchoolHouse on the first day of our vacation by the mother of the woman who we rented our cottage from in Chatham. She said, "Don't go anywhere else. They have the best ice cream." Usually I take this type of comment with a grain of salt. Not in this instance. If anything, she may have... More

Great ice cream, lots of flavors and generous portions. Our new family favorite. A small is two large scoops.

Delicious variety of flavors. The rental agent for our vacation house recommended it as the best homemade ice cream in the area. She was right! LARGE scoops. Very friendly staff. I suggest you order the next size up. Only 50 cents more and one more huge scoop. We always order it in a cup with the cone on top. Seems... More

After eating some really poor ice cream on the Cape this summer, I was SO happy to have found this place. I ordered the frozen pudding and my husband ordered triple chocolate. Both were exquisitely delicious. Better than any supermarket ice cream. Definitely tasted homemade. Yummo! We will definitely go back. Be forewarned though: it is pricey at $4.50 for... More
