Every year a few of us make our annual pilgrimage to the Whitchurch potato day. On our way back we always stop of for an Olympic breakfast at this Little chef. Yesterday's visit was a pleasant experience being seated and served very quickly by polite friendly staff. The meal was hot freshly prepared and went down a treat after a... More

Have visited this Little Chef 3 or 4 times a year for the last 20 years or so, as we have family in Somerset. Usually a big fan, but today very disappointing. Food was fairly cold and not as well cooked as usual. Restaurant was also freezing inside - all the staff were wearing coats too! I think it was... More

I used to use Little Chefs quite often many years ago but hadn't been in one in more than 20 years. Walking into this one, past the boarded up window and litter, was like going back in time. Same tables and chairs, same carpet and pretty mush the same menu as 20 years ago. No-one else was in there apart... More

Hadn't been to Little Chef for a few years and found this particular branch hadn't changed from what I remember from back then. Arrived to find a disgruntled customer in "discussion" with the staff who seemed reluctant to provide a contact for Customer Services and were quite dismissive. My order for a cup of tea and a bacon roll became... More

The food was good and the staff friendly and very helpful but can't help feeling that they coped despite the state of the building. It is in desperate need of a bit of renovation, particularly the toilet area. It was a cold dark night and there was a cold drought blowing through which made the food go cold very quickly.

We called in here for Breakfast. I used to use it a lot on business trips and preferred it to Popham. It was quiet and the staff friendly and efficient. However, the breakfasts themselves .... whilst beautifully cooked and presented, seemed to be slipping from the quality standard of the older Little Chef. The sausage and bacon were not as... More
