It's a pub so, what do you expect? The pluses were that it had carpet which dampened the noise somewhat. The seating was comfortable and the tables spacious.
To order, you line up at a counter, place your order and pay. You are then given a beeper so you know when your meal is ready.
The menu selection could best be classified as average and I chose the flathead fillets with veg which filled a hole but you couldn't call it exciting or innovative.
Prices are reasonable and it's popular, probably because it's the only pub in the area.

Went with a group of 100+ and meals came out in a timely fashion and were great. Parmigiana was moist and roast was a fantastic size. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Pleasantly surprised with the food and service on a busy night.

Called in for lunch. Impressed with both the service and the meal. The meals were fresh, hot and served quickly. The whole area was spotless

We used to eat here on a semi regular basis, had good hearty meals that came out in good time. Very disappointed in the meals we had tonight, obvious the new chef is struggling. Very long wait for very simple food. All but 2 people ordered a schnitzel. The restaurant not overly busy. Diane sauce is not gravy with a few bits if garlic, and only 2 slices of mushroom in gravy to make mushroom sauce. Pappadums with the curry were very visibly burnt, curry was very bland. Extra charge for vegetables instead of chips in the kids meals is not a very healthy option. Hardly any sauce on the burgers.
The kids loved the play ground, so will be back for afternoon drinks as service is very good, but will find somewhere else to eat.

Simple food should be well cooked but the meals we got today were not well cooked at all. The beef schnitzel and crumbed lamb cutlets were very very over cooked, meat was very dry, T-bone steak was well done not medium, and the beef pattie on the burger was thin and extremely dry, but strangely the bacon in the burger was raw and cold, and the onions burnt black making the whole thing taste burnt. The people cooking need to do a refresher on cooking proteins, will not be back.

Over priced, under cooked. Food was absolutely horrible. We had a booking for 15. Seating was very bad. Food took over an hour to be served and the meals that were ordered were basic, certainly not an hours were of cooking. Several meals had to be sent back as they were unbeatable.
The language from the bar was heard in dining room, f and c bombs left right and centre.

Went there for dinner last night on a very busy night, had to wait in line but was in the front of the queue in no time. Very friendly bubbly lady serving, was polite and very friendly, food was very yummy and was out with little wait time.
Husband had BBQ pork ribs and he thought they where amazing, I had one of the ocean trout specials and the kids had some meals off the kids menu.
The kids loved the playground, I’m sure they would’ve stayed there all night if I’d let them.
Bar staff where just as friendly and happy to help me choose a wine as they don’t have a list but the knowledge they had about the wines they carry was helpful in choosing something.
Very happy with the food and service.
10/10 easily. Will definitely be returning.

Ordered a Thai beef salad and the most of the beef came out raw and bloody.
When I took it back, the cook said that that is how it is served. They offered to scrape out the beef and re-cook it, which in a mixed salad wasn’t really a feasible option.
The attitude of the cook was really condescending, unfortunately due to this interaction, I would not be recommending this venue.

We recently attended a family gathering of between 50 and 60 people on Saturday 23rd September. Although the hotel was extremely busy, we could not fault the service or food. My wife and I both had the smoky pork spareribs with chips and salad and found the meal delicious. The price of meals and drinks were very reasonable for what we received. Definitely worth the trip from Lake Macquarie for an evening with family.

The lowest pub meal I’ve ever had in Bathurst or the Central West.
The meals came out cold and even the basic mash and veg was a challenge. The sirloin ate like leather and the cutlets had more crumb depth than lamb qty. It felt like we’d got cutlets from lunch.

Terrible!
Service poor and very slow. Waited 1hr for our food and it wasn’t busy. When ordering the lady (If can call her that) greeted us with, “so what are you aven”? Will not come back here and recommend anyone considering to go elsewhere.

Unable to order off the menu - why have it in the menu if you’ve sold out of it this was the second time they didn’t have the chicken spring rolls - take it off if you don’t have them !!!!!

We caught up with friend for Lunch.
The staff were courteous and helpful.
We ordered our meals and they were available within a reasonable time, even though it was a very busy Sunday.
The meals were large and delicious.
We will be back.

My sister Ordered a platter for $90, I wouldn't have paid $15 For it. I ordered a seafood basket and it tasted like the prawns could have been off. Never again.
