The lobster roll really is as huge as described in the menu and it’s also very good. The scallops wrapped in bacon appetizer are usually done just right. Service is always excellent. And the bar has a friendly crowd.

We sat outside and went for the oysters and appetizers. Everything was wonderful, including the service. We kind of wished that we had sat indoors because the classic nautical decor would have been enjoyable while having our meal. Good view of the harbor.

Even on a chilly Halloween day, we were able to sit out on the porch here with the help of some powerful outdoor heaters in full view of the harbor. Lunch was yummy....get the shrimp tacos!

This is a very good place to grab a bite. My family and I go to this restaurant every time we go to Massachusetts. This is pricy but phenomenal.

A chilly day, but not on the propane heated veranda, where lunch with visitors was great. Service was attentive and speedy. Draft beer was cold and refreshing. Food was hot and tasty. Nice location on the harbor - very reliable.

We visited the Black Cat Tavern for a weekend dinner off season and had a great high top table. The lobster and asparagus risotto was delicious, very rich but very good. Two of the members of our party also tried the pork chop and said...More

I should have ordered it but didn't. The lobster on a salad I think is the best selection. The family next to us ordered one for each of them. Five plates total. Instant envy.

I need gluten-free as I have a wheat allergy and they were able to accommodate me. Very nice people and great food.
