Why oh why oh why? Cozy place, nice bar, wait staff is great, good parking. PEI oysters $2/each . . . were terrific! My husband said his fried haddock sandwich was really good. And the homemade potato chips are the best. Pizzas are very good. Then there's the Cob salad I ordered . . . green lettuce, brown lettuce. Cubes... More

We took guests out to dinner. I don't know what happened but it appears that something went very wrong. The dinner started ok with oysters and appetizer crab cakes but from that point on it was a disaster. We waited and waited and everyone else appeared to be getting their meals, paying, and leaving.... no one came to the table... More

Nothing against Leominster but it's not the prettiest spot in Massachusetts. We happened to be passing through and my wife remembered that the Niche Hospitality Group had a restaurant in Leominster. We're fans of their restaurants in Worcester so we gave Rye and Thyme a try. It was diamond in the rough. The interior of the restaurant is dark and... More

Disappointing on all levels. The food - fish dish had a lousy after-taste for me & my friend who ordered the same. The meat choice for my other friend came with a lot of melted cheese drowning the sides. He is an eater of nearly any food but after one bite left all the sides. He ate the meat part.... More

This is easily our favorite restaurant in town. The beer list is excellent and ever rotating so it is always fun to see what is available. We usually eat downstairs in the pub area but once in a while we sit at the bar upstairs and watch them shuck the oysters. There is an oyster happy hour when the house... More

We went to Rye & Thyme with another couple on a Saturday evening and had a leisurely dinner - no pressure to leave upon finishing and declining dessert. My wife and I ordered rack of lamb. Mine was perfect: as rare as health codes will permit. My wife's lamb equally rare, but she had requested it medium, so we had... More

Went here for dinner this past weekend with my wife for our wedding anniversary. The place is quite large yet it wasn't so loud that you had to shout across the table. The food was excellent. I had a steak with fall vegetable hash and my wife had seared salmon with butternut squash risotto. At the end we share a... More

Terrific atmosphere. Service was top notch. Food was above average, but not quite worth the price they charge. The menu had many choices and it was hard to pick the one I wanted. Parking can be a challenge, but overall a good experience.

Enjoyed a bottle of 2014 Genesis Merlot from the Columbia Valley. Full bodied, nice finish! While waiting for my date I ordered the Calamari....EXCELLENT!! peppers added a little spice, cooked perfectly .... highly recommended! Once my date arrived I suggested we get an appetizer...she had never had lamb! We ordered the lamb lollipops....Delicious!! Excellent Food! Since she had already eaten... More

Came here while passing though the area; it seemed like an interesting spot with a decent menu but it didn't really live up to expectations. The Oysters were good but it kind of stops there. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it came on a tasteless soggy roll with thick hunks of mozzarella and bland tomato slices. I thought it... More
