Very authentic and good Sichuan food. I knew this place would be amazing when I found out that Serious Eats, one of my favorite cooking and recipe websites with national reach, has a whole article just on what to order at Fuloon. I'd recommend reading it. If you do, you'll get the gist of how to enjoy your experience here.... More

Had a good lunch here. It was my first visit. The food and the service were fine. I plan to stop in again when in the area.

First I have to admit the taste is not bad. The service is far behind satisfying. One female servant always asked for more tips. I typically offered 10%-20% tips. When below 15%, she always aggressively asked for more. But they should know how much I gave had a reason. I gave less because I was not served at all. She... More

My family and friends have made the trek to Malden to enjoy this authentic food, cooked with pride and genuine spices - not "Americanized." I frequent this restaurant with a friend who also spends much time in China (she is part Chinese) who says the food in this restaurant is like the food she experiences there. I am so glad... More

We were there as a group so it was great to taste many dishes. Some better than others, but overall good. The cooks are not afraid to use chili peppers! After sampling, I noticed the same flavor profile in most of the dishes.

Made a special trip to Fuloon on a Sunday afternoon based on out-of-this-world review at SeriousEats, the awesome food blog. I ordered three dishes off the menu - starch noodles with pork, Genshu string beans, steamed pork with dried tofu. The starch noodles were bland with a thin sauce, the only redeeming quality being the delicate julienned carrots, celery, and... More

We ate here after attending a wake in the area. Locals recommended the place but said to order off the menu as the buffet dishes are Americanized. We shared the sai woo beef soup which was quite good. The steam meat dumplings had a good filling but the wrapper was overly doughy to our taste. I had a sizzling beef... More

As we live near this establishment, we decided to give it a try. Upon entering the room, however, we were not impressed by the decor - at all! It was clean; make no mistake about that, but it was ugly. Upon having the dinner served, we found it to be very tasty. At that time, we decided to give it... More

We used to go to FuLoon every Christmas Eve until the experience got a little too 'weird' for my husband, who is not as adventurous an eater as others in our party. Their hot dishes are very very hot. Very good luncheon buffet.

We decided to stop by the FuLoon for the lunch buffet on a weekday (6.25pp) since we have enjoyed ordering their food in the past. The buffet had approx 20 items; 2 soups, approx 8 appetizers, and around 10 main dishes. We each tried a different soup (hot/sour and egg drop), a couple of apps (egg rolls, crab ragoon, pork...
