I love to go mid-week and meet my friends for drinks and appetizers; and then drinks and dinner. Vibe is sophisticated and the bar crowd mixed - ages, gender, race, orientation and politics. Best of all - friendly. Staff always there to take the order, answer questions about the menu and make suggestions. I enjoy getting a corner at the... More

Had a great time at Exchange St Bistro. Lucky night no kids. Great service by friendly urban staff. Food and drinks were as ordered and as described, We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

We go to the Bistro for lunch regularly. The food is excellent, servings generous -- we always take leftovers home -- and a tempting variety of selections. We've taken friends and colleagues and they leave happy.

We went here for lunch on a Saturday based on a friend's recommendation. Boy were we disappointed. The service was mediocre at best. My mother accidentally spilled her water and when we scrambled to get rags from the bar (because no server wanted to make eye contact) the bartender gave us attitude like he couldn't be bothered. Throughout the meal... More

Dimly lit, quiet, very amenable to good conversation with friends or significant other. Service is excellent and prompt. Food is truly delicious and presented very artistically. The experience is exceptional. Truly unique for Malden.

I mostly visit for a lunch (fish tacos are the best!), but their tapas are also a hit. I've met friends for a drink and had a company function. I know their bunch is pretty popular as well. The atmosphere is nice, has that red leather, old style feel. Their martini menu is quite extensive but if that's not your... More

Had our company holiday party there. Food was good, service attentive, facilities nice. Parking is a bit tough, but there is a garage close by.

Nice atmosphere. My husband and I wanted to have a nice meal in a relaxing atmosphere and ESB fit the bill! The food was good. We especially enjoyed a starter of mussels. They have an amazing selection of martinis! I enjoyed a rib eye steak and my husband equally enjoyed his seafood dish. A bit pricey, but worth the splurge.
