Thought we were going to a sub shop. Actually is a store and deli with 2 tables inside and 1 outside. Mostly take-out. We ate inside. They have an extensive sandwich menu, gourmet. All quality ingredients. We both got a piled high veggie melt on...pita bread: lettuce, tomato, onion, hots, pickles, 3 kinds cheese with Russian dressing under. You can add or take out to your liking. My friend got side tortellini salad, I got homemade coleslaw. Such high quality! And reasonably priced as they don't skimp on quality/ quantity. The young man behind the counter, Skylar, was friendly, patient and flexible. He said he loved his job (when asked) and it showed. So glad we took a chance. This was all such an unexpected surprise. Cannot wait to repeat!More
Tried this place based on the recommendation of the lady at Dunkin Donuts across the street. This place makes a great sandwich. I had the Mickey's #7 and it rocked. The jerk chicken soup was very good. If you are in a hurry, order ahead...of time because the specialty sandwiches don't come out fast but that is okay. It was worth the wait. I will definitely stop here again the next time I'm here whether on business or vacation. A great sandwich is worth the wait. They only have three tables so being able to order and eat in may not be an option, but it is probably a small inconvenience really. Give them a try. They have a menu that is worth trying something new every visit.More
Better than a pizza joint. Locals frequent often. Just super fresh, stacked sandwiches. Avocado, sprouts and extras no problem. Family run and busy so to best to call ahead. Place your order, pick up and head out on your boat fully provisioned!
We come here about once a month and always enjoy the sandwiches! Good selection of different sandwiches and very fresh ingredients.
One of the oldest sandwich shops in Marblehead- Why- Staying power. Quality and a great tasting sandwich. Can you beat a Sandwich and a view of the Ocean? GO FOR IT!
Always tasty, always filling. I usually get takeout because there aren't many seats. Great to grab before hitting the beach!
Have eaten here many times. Love to have lunch from here. I had the Brookline which was roast beef, turkey, swiss cheese, corned beef, cole slaw and russian dressing on marble rye. REALLY good. Many sandwiches to choose from including several unusual ones. Busy place...with just a couple of tables. Mostly takeout but worth it.More
Sandwich was pretty good, but there was only one person working with several in line. Took a long time to get our sandwiches.
near NY deli quality. great mixed/combo sandwiches.even good pickles...no frills..best for take out, with a few tables
The Manhattan Sandwich Company offers a nice variety of NY style deli sandwiches. Don't forget to ask for your pickle.
When I pick up a sandwich, nothing I like better than a heavy bag. Manhattan Deli sandwiches are heavy! My favorite is the Empire. I live near the shop and eat there couple times a month.
I suppose I wouldn't have been so critical except I'm a native of Brooklyn NY. Their sandwiches are OK, but not NY quality. Fillings were meager. However, I have heard quality varies. There are much better choices in Marblehead (e.g., Evans Deli, The Little Store,...Village Roast Beef, Vesuvius and the Community Store).More
Great take out sandwich shop. It has been a Marblehead standby through several owners and name changes. Well worth the trip
Excellent sandwich shop. Very fresh ingredients. Quich, friendly service. Prices are very reasonable. Took out for a day on the water.
