We made a quick stop for breakfast and I am glad I did. The place is very small and appears most people get their order to go. A nice family have up their seats for my 94 year old mom and me which was very...nice. I had the bacon, egg, and cheddar Bialy and it was delicious. My mom has a croissant which I know was delicious as I took one to go. They have a wide selection of pastries - we took home some chocolate mousse thing, Omgness, was it delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!More

The French Press Bakery provides some very good pastries in Needham Center, across street from the train station. I had the chocolate croissant, which was very tasty.

Came here as it was high on the list of Cafe’s online. I was just looking for some coffee and waste some time in between Dr. appointments… boy did I find a gem! Sat at the counter and had a great cup of coffee along...with a delicious open faced Turkey club sandwich on pumpkin bread. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in this area! For dessert I got a French version of tiramisu, the Opera… wow was it bursting with flavor! Service was great, very chill atmosphere and funky music vibes sealed the deal on this first time visit. Will be back again 100%More

For pastry early in the morning. Outstanding and worth the drive. Service is prompt and vibe is good. Expensive but worth it. Definitely 5 stars Small place with no atmosphere and minimal indoor seating. . This is primarily a take-out bakery...and an excellent one

Excellent coffee and croissants. Friendly staff. Plenty of outdoor seating. A little trip to France in the heart of Needham.

I went here in a Saturday afternoon while in town. It's a small space with plenty of in street parking. The staff is friendly. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and the empanadas to dine in. I also ordered croissants and pasty to go. While...I was waiting for my sandwich I ordered a cappuccino. The cappuccino was a little bland. The chicken salad sandwich came in a nice box and was very good. It's also very filling. I was really looking forward to the empanadas. They were stuffed with chicken. Unfortunately they were overcooked and had that burnt aftertaste to the pastry. When I got home my wife and I shared the croissants and pastry. They were ok but probably made very early in the morning. I will give them another try if I am in the area again but they need to tighten up their kitchen a little. The place was clean and so was the bathroom.More

You want to love it with a name like it has, but this is a far cry from gourmet coffee. The owner is rude and the vibe is just off. Yogurt parfait is good and enjoy idea of having a Starbucks alternative that’s a small...business, however this is quite unimpressive and you’re better off at Volante or Cafe Nero in Dedham where you get a unique ambiance and tall ceilings lined with books. Fingers crossed for a better, independent coffee shop and juice bar coming to Needham soon!More

There was an article a couple months ago touting their "Friday only" Fried Chicken Sandwich, so went over there today to check it out. They have a few outside tables and benches, which was promising and no line out the door, so I got into...line. They have Social distancing markings on the floor, but the line doubles back, so when you are actually ordering you are REALLY close to someone else in line. Anyway, I ordered the sandwich ($13.95 + tax). You have to know they have it as it isn't on the chalkboards, but it is on one menu lying on a table. They took my contactless payment and I waited outside. Sandwich came in about 10 minutes. Bun was tasty but a bit burned on top (grill marks). Same with sandwich. Lots of fries, which were good. Sandwich was dry. It had a bit of pinkish sauce on it that I thought might be a hot sauce but I coudln't really discern any flavor or heat. Sandwich was big and the breading was good, but I couldn't finish it due to dryness. Realized after a few bites that there were no napkins, went back in to ask for napkins and was handed one (1) paper napkin. One.More

After seeing a Facebook ad for their Friday special chicken sandwich, I found myself in the area last Friday and decided to give it a try. Wow! Fantastic sandwich. Perfect temperature, great taste, just the right amount of crispiness on the outside, great bun, and...the frittes were excellent. My intent was to take it out and eat at home, but when I got in the car I decided to give it a quick taste. Needless to say, neither the sandwich nor the frittes made it home. I plan to be back again this Friday! In addition, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and while waiting for the order, I was able to eruse the baked items - I'll be be trying some of those out as well for sure.More

I stopped by this small restaurant to pick up some lunch. Got some soup and a quiche. It is not a very inexpensive place. It looked like a lot of people were having coffee. The pastry in the case looks very good and it looked...very French. I was tempted to get some but decided to try my take out first. The soup was all right and the quiche was good but both were not outstanding maybe I should’ve stuck to the pastry. Will try this restaurant again and maybe my next review will be better.More

You would think I’m speaking a foreign language when I ask for no foam. I occasionally frequent this café and order a latte specifically requesting no foam. The reason for this is because they will fill half a cup with foam and it seems like...a waste of money. I want the cup full of beverage, not foam. They continue to not understand this request. The reason that they get at least an average rating from me is because they have really good vegan cookies.More

Indifferent customer service, weak mocha latte and pastry that tasted store bought. Skip this overpriced place and go for breakfast at Cafe Fresh Bagel or Volante Farms instead.

They do have soy milk for those who prefer it to milk. I have no personal experience regarding their accommodations for food allergies and sensitivities.
