My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to our anniversary dinner by going to the highly touted Tartufo Restaurant. Our overall impression was that, while the quality of the food and of its preparation was quite good, it was not exceptional. Our appetizer of sautéed mussels, served with garlic, white wine, EVOO, crushed red pepper and cherry tomato had... More

Great service, nice ambiance, decent food. Some of the dishes we ordered were definitely hits and some were misses. The eggplant rollatini was excellent. The tomato sauce was amazing. The pasta with truffles and mushrooms, a house specialty, was average. The truffles lacked flavor So the mushrooms overpowered the truffles. The lobster risotto was tasty but a bit on the... More

Very pretty inside but loud. Wait staff moved too quickly. The grilled calamari was delicious but my salmon was over cooked. My son said his pasta was mushy. We were seated near the front and clients were smoking at the front door - we could clearly smell the smoke - awful. Not rushing back.

Went for a business dinner. Well decorated, pleasant staff. I had the Chicken Parm, which was tasteless, in a heavy sauce. Others had the fish special; much better, well done. Glass of Italian red wine could have been red colored water. Busy and noisy. Not sure I'd be back.

We've been to Tartufo several times and the food is always outstanding. The restaurant can be a little noisy but it's small and quaint.

I was excited to try this after reading so many great reviews. However, we had 3 pasta dishes, and each was lacking in taste. Tagliatelle carbonara was slopping in a cream sauce, lacked any pepper and used thin bacon chips such as you buy in a packet instead of the thicker slices of pork cheek or even smoked bacon that... Step into this Italian restaurant and you feel like you have transported to Pescara Italy. Burrata and prosciutto were very tasty. Lobster Arrabbiata was a new twist. It was good but could have been more spicy. Nonetheless, the service and Italian wine list made for an excellent night among friends.

My wife, son and I had dinner at 5pm at Tartufo tonight. We ate early because we could not get a later reservation. We started with the bruschetta, which was great. It consisted of four three bite pieces of diced fresh tomatoes on perfect toast. My son is a picky eater so had the meatball appetizer as a main course.... More

Been a few times, each time satisfied with a good selection and a high-level meal. Service is not fast, testament to its small staff and authentic vibe.

Eight of us came for dinner for a friend's birthday. We got to sit upstairs -it was quaint and intimate. Delicious appetizers and entrées. Everyone was raving about how authentic and delicious their meal was! I had the pasta with spinach and goat cheese. The pasta clearly was homemade and melted in my mouth. Everyone's plate was clean! This is... More
